okay i know the joke has become that california is terrible for various reasons. and i get that, i totally do, i can agree to an extent. but growing up there and calling it home was such a unique and beautiful experience and i miss it. no other state will feel so completely like home no matter where i go. there is so much beauty and uniqueness and history and i love it. i have no love for my hometown whatsoever, but california will always feel like home. i hope i get to spend more time there in the future or maybe live there again one day.
