Hi guys I recently had a run in with a pedophile who was posting child pornography, please donât call the police thereâs not a whole lot they can do in situations of tracking unless itâs in your home state! And they donât have a department that deals with blogs.
Instead call 1-800-843-5678 or fill out a form for cybertipline.com , they reach out within the same day and deal with these assholes all the time. They will contact you if they need more assistance or if theyâve resolved it! The police department redirected me to the hotline and will do so in every situation unless itâs local. Stay safe!

If you wish to take part in any fandom, you need to accept and respect these three laws.
If you arenât able to do that, then you need to realise that your actions are making fandom unsafe for creators. That you are stifling creativity.
Like vaccination, fandom only works if everyone respects these rules. Creators need to be free to make their fanart, fanfics and all other content without fear of being harassed or concern-trolled for their creative choices, no matter whether you happen to like that content or not.

It is up to you what you see online. It is not anyone elseâs place to tell you what you should or should not consume in terms of content; it is not up to anyone else to police the internet so that you do not see things you do not like. At the same time, it is not up to YOU to police fandom to protect yourself or anyone else, real or hypothetical.
There are tools out there to help protect you if you have triggers or squicks. Learn to use them, and to take care of your own mental health. If you are consuming fan-made content and you find that you are disliking it - STOP.

Simply put, this means that everyone likes different things. Itâs not up to you to determine what creators are allowed to create. Itâs not up to you to police fandom.Â
If you donât like something, you can post meta about it or create contrarian content yourself, seek to convert other fans to your way of thinking. Â
But you have no right to say to any creator âI do not like this, therefore you should not create it. Nobody should like this. It should not exist.â
Itâs not up to you to decide what other people are allowed to like or not like, to create or not to create. Thatâs censorship. Donât do it.
The Third Law of Fandom
Ship And Let Ship (SALS)
Much (though not all) fandom is about shipping. There are as many possible ships as there are fans, maybe more. You may have an OTP (One True Pairing), you may have a NOTP, that pairing that makes you want to barf at the very thought of its existence.
Itâs not up to you to police ships or to determine what other people are allowed to ship. Just because you find that one particular ship problematic or disgusting, does not mean that other people are not allowed to explore its possibilities in their fanworks.
You are free to create contrarian content, to write meta about why a particular ship is repulsive, to discuss it endlessly on your private blog with like-minded persons.
It is not appropriate to harass creators about their ships, it is not appropriate to demand they do not create any more fanworks about those ships, or that they create fanwork only in a manner that you deem appropriate.
These three laws add up to the following:
You are not paying for fanworks content, and you have no rights to it other than to choose to consume it, or not consume it. If you do choose to consume it, do not then attack the creator if it wasnât to your taste. Thatâs the height of bad manners.
Be courteous in fandom. It makes the whole experience better for all of us.
The Goldsmiths are not a family. They are an organization of powerful immortals. Here are (some of) the members, and their connections.
Scott Goldsmith (real last name=Tay) is a vampire. Approximately 1000-1200 years old (as of 2011), He is quite strong and quite old. Quite rich as well. Perhaps most notably, He is blessed by an absurd amount of gods, Giving him immense luck. Said gods being: XB(distantly related), Zedaph, Lady Luck, Victory, Keralis(distantly related), Jimmy(He counts), And the watchers.
Jimmy Solidarity is a Holy Spirit. Specifically, his title is; The Canary, Spirit Of Loss And Judgement. Jimmy is married to Scott, and despite the two not being able to spend much time together, both are deeply in love. To the point of both almost entirety forgetting what its like without the other.
Lizzie Shadows is a high ranking Fae who is distantly descended from Keralis and XB. She's like an older sister to Jimmy, and is well loved by many. Lizzie is a Lady, and those who live on her land consist mainly of Werewolves, Hybrids, and Fae.Â
Joel Shadows-Beans is a Werewolf, and a direct descendant of the god of lightning, Stratos. He is happily married to Lizzie, although his official role is as her bodyguard. He will very happily murder anyone he sees bothering his beloved.
Ren Diggity Dog is the King of the Red kingdom. The Red kingdom being a decently sized kindom on a mountain. He is known to citizens as a kind, energetic, and mildly foolish ruler with a heart of gold. He is known to most foreigners as a fierce and murderous warlord with an insatiable bloodlust. He is known to his friends and the Goldsmiths, as a theatre kid who, every few months, commit to a character, go out into the general public, and roleplay as his character with immense commitment until his husband calls him home or another Goldsmith asks him to drop the act (although the second technique doesnt always work).
DocM77 Is a Fae who exists almost entirely separate from Fae society. He is one of the oldest Fae, existing in that peculiar in between space of Fae and Ancient Nature spirits. He classifies himself as a Fae though. Doc is the Advisor to Ren, and also his husband. Doc is Known to the citizens of the Red kingdom as the actual ruler, managing most technical duties as well as the enforcement of rules. To foreigners he is not known to be associated with the Red Kingdom and is simply known as the "Lord of Beasts" Which is not entirely inaccurate. Again, he walks the fine line between Fae(a subset of nature spirits that are known for their powers involving names and their insect like wings) and ancient nature spirits(some of the first nature spirits to exist- literal personifications of aspects of Nature).
Tango Tek is a vampire and the Sire of Scott. Originally a Demon of consumption, he died and was brought back to Life, an unfortunate side effect being that he became a vampire. He still has all the abilities of a consumption Demon, but now he has added Vampire powers.
Zedaph is Death. Married happily to Tango.Â
XB is The Ocean. The great infinity of water in every single Universe within the minecraft multiverse cluster. He is the father of every ocean dwelling being to ever exist.Â
Keralis is Desire. He is need, he is want, He is The desire of the universe. He is alsi a great business man and is happily married to XB :)
Gemini Tay is a vampire and the Twin sister of Scott, and was also turned by Tango. She moved away from him and lives a very happy Life as the Head of agriculture in Lizzie's Kingdom. She is also an incredibly skilled Assassin and is well known for her ability to always kill in new and exciting ways!
I'm only going to speak this one time on the matter.
The shipping situation with Pyroscythe and Maddie has been handled horribly. Point blank.
Maddie is completely valid in being uncomfortable, I will not hear anyone say otherwise. That being said, expecting the entire internet to bend to your whims as a creator is wrong.
Fandom existed before, many of us, myself included, have been here for years. Within the last several years there has been a shift of Content Creators becoming extremely involved in their fandoms, and it has become a detriment to the culture as a whole. This is not just Pyroscythe, many many others are just as guilty.
So to those Content Creators, you are a person just like the rest of us. You have to curate your online experience just like us as well. You do not get to control fandom spaces, you don't control what we create for free. You're characters stopped being completely your own the second it was shown on the internet. If something makes you uncomfortable, you have to take the action to avoid those fanworks. Block tags, block accounts, scroll past. You do not get to say what we can and cannot do. You are in control of the buttons you press, of what you see.
To my fellow fans, do as you wish with fictional characters in your art. You're not doing it for the CCs, you're doing it for you. Rarepairs and crackships have existed for decades. Ships that are strange or wrong or controversial have existed just as long. You are your own person, not everyone will like what you make, but at the same time, someone might love it. Please keep creating. The CCs don't control you. At the same time, don't force your works onto others. Tag properly, don't @ the CCs. That is how you be respectful without giving up what you love.
Fictional characters are just that, fictional. When I write fanfiction, I am taking fictional characters and playing with them like dolls. They are not real, nothing I do with them affects real life.
All of this is to say, I will not stop writing my fics. I am not making them for the CCs to see, in fact, I have never wanted them to see it. So, I will continue to ship V!Majorscythe. I refuse to give up the ship that finally broke a years long writter's block. I will not abandon my in-progress fics. I am expecting a dynamic change on The Flight, so I will not be writing anything with TF!Majorscythe, I will likely still interact with other's works & art though. If this upsets you, block me now. Control is not how fandom works. I saw someone say how this is our house. Fandom is our space. If you don't like it, leave. I will not be pushed out of my space, my home.
I sincerely hope if somehow this is seen by Pyro, or any other CCs, it helps them understand how poorly this was handled. You cannot control fandom spaces. 6+ years ago, you would never know what we talk about, what we shipped. This space isn't for you and trying to control it makes it unsafe for us. You're not above us, block features exist for a reason.

when it comes to the pyro situation, asking a community to completely stop creating certain things is kinda stupid. If you do not like something, tell your fans to tag correctly and not send them the work. Thatâs it. Asking people to completely stop creating something is like telling everyone to stop eating peanuts because youâre allergic. Like okay we wonât eat peanuts around you but,, you canât BAN peanuts???? Boundaries are things to follow for when you are interacting with the creator, like telling someone not to make suicide jokes because itâs uncomfortable to you. If they stop around you, thatâs great, but itâs not a moral failing if they continue to make the jokes around others. If they donât stop making the jokes, you stop interacting. Boundaries means something that might be the reason I donât interact with you, not a rule that everyone MUST follow no matter if Iâm around. Donât like, donât interact.

I know that there is a lot of young people in the mcyt fandom, who have not developed and learned how to pick apart texts and notice specific things in them yet. So, because of recent stuff and the words "boundaries", "rules" and "censorship" being thrown around like candy, here's someone who has these skills (me) going through Millkberrys and Pyroscythes statements.
(TW for death, rape and sa threats, mention of sh and harassment, use of the r-slur)
First off, the actual official definitions of the words:

(notable, fan works such as fanart, fanfiction and headcanons or shitposts are considered a work of art and/or kind of communication with other fans.)
(notable #2, the ideas people are allowed to express and the certain ideas that are included or supported in this case is the shipping of the creators characters.)
(notable #3, content creators / mcyts are minor celebrities and with that have authority over their fan communitys. If you disagree, feel free to block me, I will not be arguing over this.)
And now, me marking/highligthing things in the statements that fit those definitions/descriptions:
What's a boundary or implies one is marked with green.
What's not a boundary is marked with yellow.
What's a rule or implies a rule is marked with blue.
What's censorship is marked red.
I want it to be noted that the only times boundaries are implied or mentioned by either of them, is the word, regarding that this is for Millkberrys mental health or when the actual act of setting boundaries is dismissed (as a past action or entirely).
This is not to mention Pyroscythes literal thread of harassment and policing people, which has already taken action through other fans putting death and rape threads in peoples ask boxes:

Apparently one of Pyroscythes mods claimed on Twitter that it was meant as a joke. However, considering the very serious nature of both the stream segment and his expression as well as the fact that it came from a mod and Pyroscythe has yet to actually say anything on this themself, I'm inclined to not believe it.
Lastly, my opinion on this:
Harassment is never okay and no matter how many times these creators have said in the past that they don't endorse it, reality is looking different right now. You cannot tell your large audience what Pyroscythe has told his and expect it not to listen to you, no matter if it was meant as a joke or not.
This is not a boundary, it is a rule at minimum and censorship at worse. Censorship is rampant right now and fandom spaces are some of the few spaces that allow free expression, trying to take that away is not okay. If you cannot handle seeing ship content of your characters, then you should block people who do make art of it, block the shipping tags and not go out of your way to look for it. You can ask people not to show that art to you, and that is completely valid. It is also completely valid to ban people from Stream chats and discords if they do show it to you. It is not valid to tell people what kind of art they can and cannot create however. And if you can't handle the idea of ship content of your characters existing at all, then maybe you should rethink your career choice as a content creator who focuses on roleplay and character creation.
