SO, RIDDLER. i have like 40 fucking different riddlers floating around my head because i quite literally grew up on batman colouring books and batman picture books that had buttons for sound-effects and episodes of BTAS that my parents recorded onto VHS tapes for me. i am the master of dumb riddles.

that said, i’ll try to keep this kind of tb-specific.

Riddler or Mr. Freeze

It depends on the version.

If we’re talking about TB versions, I think I’d be much more likely to survive a night out with Riddler. Freeze has a hair trigger temper and this tendency to freeze anything that annoys him even a little. If we’re talking about more typical representations of the characters, definitely Freeze, for the same reason— I’d be much less likely to survive a night out with Riddler in any other canon.

(Unless it was detective!Riddler. I'd be down for that.)

Well, I've always had this thing about TB!Riddler and gender expression? I've always read him as particularly femme. The hair, the makeup-- partially expressions of rebellion, partially just because they feel right to him. Not looking to express it through pronoun differentiation, just wanting to wear his hair how he likes and wear makeup and not be bothered for it. Probably has a diverse casual wardrobe, when he can be bothered to do more than throw on a ratty t-shirt and jeans. Work comes first
