Floating Raft (2016)

Floating Raft was a project loosely based on the story of Poon Lim, a man who during the Second World War drifted for 133 days until he was rescued by a Brazilian family at the mouth of the Amazon. I used his story as a base that I built upon and added pieces from other survival stories. The words that run parallel with the images are taken from quote from Poon Lim and writings on social isolation. I worked on this project from October 2015- January 2016.
