Fancy a cuppa? My first cup of proper milk tea was in a Sri Lanka tea room on a very warm day prior to journeying into high tea country on the way to Adam’s Peak. Our antique passenger train broke down within the first hour of our trip. We followed the other passengers to the road and got on a bus with no windshield which took us to Adam's Peak in the dead of night. There were no beds available so we slept on the floor in the dining room of a hostel and started our pilgrimage hike at 3am. Courage and wisdom are qualities associated with Jasper and many backpackers.
