Did you know that a druzy is created when water brings minerals into the surface of a rock? It evaporates and cools and what is left behind are small stone formations that glitter like diamonds!

This Druzy Agate from @newstoneagecabochons is adorned with handmade silver flowers and a few 14k gold dots!

The ring is a size 8 - 8,5 US and is ready to fly! BUT! I have also added some made to order options! Same design just a different druzy colour!

𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐥𝐲, I just had to hop on the Wes Anderson trend because I’m always up for a ‘cinematic’ challenge. Isle of dogs is hands down one of my most fave movies ever! And you guys know how much I love making video’s!

While I give you a glimpse of my daily life I also wanted to tell you about why being a goldsmith and artist is so important to me.

I was born in Spain to a Spanish father and Indo- European mother. When I was a child we moved to The Netherlands and this is where I found myself torn between countries and heritage. I never felt enough to truly fit in, anywhere, let alone with Dutch peers.

To me being a goldsmith is not just a job. It is something I had to become to find home and a place of belonging.

Every piece I create is meant as a link between worlds, what ever that world might be. Something special to find safety in, but first and foremost a jewel that tells the story of you, and a little bit about me too. 🧡

I broke free and created whatever my heart desired, instead of what I thought people wanted to see in an already saturated market. My focus became the story that each piece would carry and my hope was to spark that same feeling within the wearer. As my love grew for my art, I also had to dig deep and face the delicate nature of each theme I chose to work with. A beautiful yet sometimes painful process for fear of rejection. 💜 𝐀𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐤 💜 I have a little surprise for you today because I managed to create another padlock and this one is a chunky lady! 𝐒𝐡𝐞’𝐬 𝐚𝐥𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝! Before your rush over to the shop, I would like to tell you a bit more about Amethyst because it is a remarkable stone. Throughout history it has been used as a protective gem, even soldiers would wear it during war. Its calming nature is what draws people in. I personally experience it most when the stone shows purple color zoning which is created by irradiation and iron! This is exactly why I love it so much and what makes every piece 100% unique. 🌙 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜'𝐬 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐭 🔮 There are types of jewelry I never created before, a Lariat is one of them. Don’t ask me why because I don’t understand it either! But here it is! My first Lariat design. It is inspired by the Mystic’s Dream by Loreena Mckennitt, such a crazy beautiful song! Sometimes music triggers visuals in my mind which match the vibe or the beat of the song. It’s hard to explain what I see but I can attempt to translate it in silver. Can you relate? Do you think more in words or in images? Eitherway these Lariat necklaces feature two deep red garnets! 🩸𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐞𝐜𝐤𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 🌙 Did you know that Lunar eclipses only happen during a full Moon? There are about 2 eclipses every year, and 1 out of 3 are total lunar eclipses with the potential for a blood moon. Isn’t that fascinating?! Despite its eerie associations, and I read quite a few of those, the blood moon doesn't have to bring chaos. Like all eclipses in astrology, think it as a time of change! This necklace is inspired by this phenomenon and shows the different phases of the Moon. It is adorned with three brilliant garnet drops which represent the blood of the Moon! 🌒 𝐄𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 🌑 A total Lunar Eclipse happens when the shadow of the Earth falls completely over the surface of the Moon and blocks all sunlight. However, some sun still hits the surface of the moon which makes it bathe in a orange to reddish halo! The darkness and red glow sparked my soul and inspired me to create the 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐜𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐬𝐞 earrings. Luck is perceived in many ways may it be through numbers, objects or animals!

For the 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐰𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 collection I have created 3 Lucky number coins: 13, 7 and 8.

Each of them have their own meaning and I dove into all the philosophies, but I would prefer to keep their open for interpretation because these things are so personal!

The Ammonite is a different story! They stem from the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods and symbolise change and positive motion!

It’s been a while since I last posted but behind the scenes new things have been brewing!

After a streak of bad luck all of July, I got inspired to create a collection that revolves around finding luck again.
