the audacity of the official dc account to even post this 😭
good thing I don’t WANT to fix him then
i feel like the fact that all these superheroes know each other but have secret id’s has so much comedy potential
steph & some friends on a trip to central city: [passes by some cops]
steph: oh hey barry!
barry: hey kiddo!
steph’s friends: wtf?
i keep thinking of examples that are teens knowing random adults but like, equally funny:
clark and jimmy are in gotham to report on some happenings and they’re getting a starbucks and they bump into selina
clark: oh hey selina
selina: what’s up
clark: not much…how’s it going? gotten into any trouble lately?
selina: nothing i would tell you about
clark & selina: [laugh]
jimmy: what is happening right now
Bruce Wayne, giving a group of Metropolis high schoolers on a field trip a tour of his R&D labs: Does anyone have any questions?
Conner Kent, who knows exactly who Bruce Wayne is and vice versa: Mr. Wayne, what is your opinion on fursonas?
Okay but imagine the teacher glare and the classmate laughter and then Bruce just looks at him with a raised eyebrow and says “Conner, we’ve already had that conversation, my view has not changed”
And all of a sudden Conner is swarmed by wide-eyed classmates who are like “When the f did you have this conversation and more importantly what is Bruce m-f-ing Wayne’s opinion on fursonas”
To add to the Conner and Bruce scenario.
They have never had that conversation. That’s why Conner said it. He thought it would get some sort of reaction out of him.
Bruce however, just knows Conner was going to have some stupid question and prepared himself by predetermine what Conner would say before he even raised his hand or made eye contact. That answer is rehearsed. Conner is now stuck because he can’t tell the truth on when he got to know Bruce, but he also doesn’t know what Bruce’s opinions on said fursonsa is.
ok ok but he can say whatever he wants and bruce isn’t gonna correct him
“oh yeah he and my dad go wayyy back. my mom always said if she had to worry abt dad having an affair, it’s probably with bruce. and he thinks everyone should have a fursona. it’s a part of finding you’re true self. :)”
tim finds the footage and shows the rest of the batboys and all of them just screaming.
Just wondering but have you read “the big road home” by crumpetz? I’m rereading it now (and taking extreme levels of emotional damage from doing so) and it seems like something you’d really enjoy
"Tim does excitement a little differently than most people, a little quieter and with less movement, but it’s really obvious once you know him. He’s not saying much or screaming or anything, but Tim looks like a human sunbeam. Like he’s glowing under his skin."
omg this made me emotional 😭
We named him after you we hope you don't mind
Literally anyone meeting bruce and his family for the first time: So how did you get so many kids by 30?
Dick: HE WAS A TEENAGE DELINQUENT
Jason: *shouting over him* HE LEFT MY MOTHER AT THE ALTAR
*tim is sitting, just happy to be included*
Bruce: BE-quiet. They're ADOPTED!
Jason: *not a beat missed* Because he’s never known the touch of a woman.
oh,
oh this is absolutely beautiful
I saw some James Webb Telescope scientists give a talk and one of them said this was her favorite image because she had waited and worked 25 years to see this.
That's right, you tell em Alfred.
Your're right Jason, you are the least dramatic person you know. Nobody can beat your brother: Dick "dramatic" Grayson
Dick and Jason's responses are the only correct ones

it’s endearing to me that we think of Peeta as wanting to be a father not because he ever even suggests it (he doesn’t, not before the epilogue) but because Katniss is the narrator and she clearly wants him to be one
kinda going through it rn
What better way to launch my new art blog than by drawing Talia.
Y’ever read something and have understanding that has eluded you interminably suddenly stop, curl up, and snuggle neatly into a fold in your brain because a new way way opened to it?
