// GAH I finally wrote things on here again, my biggest apologies to everyone I left hanging!
enforcedequilibrium:
“[I’m sorry] for regressing to my native tongue. That means ‘my apologies.’ At times, when I find myself at a loss for words, I tend to use Ionian instead… it is such a beautiful language, with so many words for things that need a sentence of Common to explain.”
Maybe my hunch was incorrect, and this was not Nasus, Shen thought to himself. The exceptionally tall man in front of him did not even flinch at his choice of words, that hinted at Master Silver’s true identity. Such a strange place for a native Shuriman to set up shop…
Shen dismissed these notions and instead focused on the binder. “It is no worry, Master Silver. May I see the binder? I want to see what changes have come about since ours have been made.”
Nasus smiled at Shen, confident he’d thrown the perceptive ninja off his trail, and continued his ruse. He pushed the binder across the counter with another smile.
“I’ve heard Ionian a few times and can speak only the most basic and necessary of sentences. I’m sure that my pronunciation is horrendous.”
Shen flipped through the binder, tracing it gently with his hand, following the region’s landmarks and areas with a finger, remembering from his experience and instinct where everything is. It all appears to be in order... he thought to himself, remarking out loud only with a slight “Hmm.” before continuing the polite conversation.
“The pronunciation is not bad, but your accent is distinctly non-Ionian. Definitely Shuriman, Master Silver.” He looked over the map more, a furrow in his brow as he looked over one feature again. “I hate to be a bother, but do you know the age of this map? Was it drawn by your hand, or acquired elsewhere?”
"A summoner... hmph. Not a common sight these days." Shen's gaze never flickered, his pose never faltered, his demeanor never changed as he addressed the other. "But still, our paths cross."
The masked man tilted his head, studying the Kinkou as he spoke. A moment of silence passed before Sauron grinned widely, one hand rising to his chest, as he bent in a bow, “Our rarity only increases our value.”
As he rose from the bow, his head tilted owlishly once more, “To what though, do I owe the honour of your presence?”
Shen returns the bow, as a matter of greeting rather than a show of respect – it is not that he is disrespectful, but rather that he does not mean to command respect from others.
“It would appear so. And my presence is not to be considered an honor. I am not a ruler, nor a dignitary.” He paced slightly, stepping with silent footfalls as he moved. “As for our meeting… it appears fortune – or misfortune, as one could see it – has brought us together. For what purpose, I do not know yet.”
“Well, surely the purpose is something wonderful,” The masked man chuckled, his words punctuated by sweeping motions. He seemed somewhat self absorbed in his words, though the shift in his glowing eyes would be easily noticed by one of Shen’s skill.
Sauron was watching everything the Kinkou did, evaluating and purposefully acting unobservant of the others actions. His head tilted owlishly again, “I do not doubt our meeting is entirely fortuitous, for at least one of us. I am no mere summoner, you know. I am the Summoner. He who gladly holds and shows his title. No nexus crystal is necessary for this arcanist.”
His lips curled into a wide grin, flickering orbs narrowing to slits as he leaned somewhat forward, watching the pacing man, “Surely you have a request of me?”
Shen sighed – an actual, weary sigh – and relaxed somewhat. “It is rare that I am brought to a new face for a good reason, Summoner.” he explained, closing his eyes and sagely nodded.
“The summoner, mm?” Shen mused, tensing again and staring at – no, through – the Summoner with glowing, pupil-less eyes. “That is a considerable power… unfortunately, often when I meet with those wielding such powers, it ends poorly.” He nodded again and crossed his arms. “Let’s hope for us to get off on the right foot.”
“Hmm, hmm, hmm,” The man hummed tunelessly, head tilting, an all too perfect grin on what was visible of his face. The pale light that flickered in the sockets of his mask seemed to dance, tracing along the edges.
“Yes, yes! The right foot indeed. How may I help in making sure that is the case?” He held his arms out in a gesture of openness, cane hanging loosely from his right hand.

Shen nodded silently, carefully calculating both his words and Sauron’s responses, both verbal and physical. “Being a Summoner, I trust you know my creed.” He closed his eyes briefly. “It would be best for both of us if you did not interrupt that creed.”
// SO SORRY FOR LOSING TRACK OF THIS BLOG AAAAAH
// Life happened to me and I was never in one place for all of the semester break. I’m back to college now though, so hopefully the return to routine means I can sit down and hammer out replies and start new threads.
// I think I owe @lasthitwithq and @summonersauronbane replies. If I owe someone else any, PING THE CRAP OUT OF ME THANKS
// I’m not the only one who’s really bad at their character in-game, right?
⁇⁇
“How many people have you killed in cold blood?”
⁇⁇
“Why are you so obsessed with the Void Reaver?”
Send ⁇⁇ and my muse will blurt out any and all questions they've always wanted to ask yours.
📎
// Shen and Ahri... That’s a tough one, I haven’t thought about their dynamic much. As they both come from Ionia, perhaps some discussion of their lives in the city-state. Shen knows a lot, and he could know things about Ahri that aren’t well known to others.
// Sorry if that’s not a great answer ;3;
📎 ♥
// Shen and Jhin... Without putting words in his mouth, I want some sort of discussion between them on why Shen hasn’t taken him out yet, and why his art doesn’t disrupt balance.
📎
// Shen and Viktor... I bet they could get into a good conversation/argument about Viktor’s Glorious Evolution.
📎
// Shen and Rengar... sparring perhaps? Or Shen showing Rengar around Ionia, for whatever reason he may be there.
📎
//I’m going to be doing these personalized if I can help it.
// For Nasus and Shen... I’d say Shen picking Nasus’s brain about the sorts of things demigods know.
For every 📎 I get in my ask box, I'll post a thread that I want to do.
rpmemesyo:
Not necessarily with the person who sends. Just a thread I want to do in general some day.
For every ✔ my muse gets, they’ll explain how they got one of their scars.
Hero and villain. I have been both.
