Jason Ward is a predator.
Who is Jason Ward? Jason Ward is a major leaker within the Star Wars community. He provides insider information from Lucasfilm and several other Lucasfilm affiliated studios. If you’ve read a Star Wars leak, chances are that it came from Jason. He runs his own website (I’m not linking it because he doesn’t deserve to profit off of this more than he already has) He also has a twitter following of about 21K people. The interesting thing about his twitter is that he has interacted and was followed by people who worked directly at Lucasfilm. In the last few weeks, several LF employees have unfollowed him, but some still remain. But it’s still baffling to me that someone who leaked Star Wars content and someone who work at Lucasfilm would interact openly on social media… but anyways. The man has a small but kind of large platform within Star Wars.
In the last few years several women have come forth with proof of Jason’s very creepy and predatory behavior and still Jason’s platform remains untouched. A few days after the women speak he’ll go MIA and then comes crawling right back out of his pit shortly after like nothing happened.
Well this time he made a public “apology” on his website (Part 6) and then went MIA. It’s been about 2 weeks and now he’s trying to some crawling back. Please don’t let this happen, please don’t let men like this continue to have a platform and continue to prey on women like this. He’s done this before and he’ll do it again. Please share this post so people can see with their own eyes that he is not deserving of their clicks or time.
So in this post I will provide A LOT of evidence of him using homophobic slurs, anti-semitic slurs, making asian fetishizing comments, openly making pedophilic comments, admitting to seeing underages nudes from young girls, and all of the very disgusting interactions he’s had with the women who have came forth about his behavior. There’s A LOT so I’ve broken it up into parts.

***** Part 1 - The Way Jason talks to women.
He constantly likes to refer to himself as “daddy” “uncle” and calls women “my child” “children”. Jason Ward is 40 years old.
He also talks down to reylos in a misogynistic manner, (I don’t care if you don’t like reylo, that’s not what this post is about)
I want to address something else as well, a wider issue within the fandom and from people with platforms. Here is a larger Star Wars account. Tricia Barr (writer for Star Wars Insider) speaks out against Jason, but very much in the “you should have known” manner. Don’t victim blame. Two of the women included in these posts were 20 or younger, how are they supposed to just be aware of his behavior? There isn’t word of mouth or anyone regularly persecuting Jason because he isn’t being held accountable for his behavior.
Tricia Barr liked the tweet below. The tweet below is blaming women for being preyed upon because of their fictional interests. This is the exact same victim blaming narrative as “she was showing too much skin”. Victim blaming is disgusting. No one deserved to be preyed upon. No one deserves to be treated this way.
This sheds light on a larger issue here, Jason Ward has been able to continue being a prominent figure within the Star Wars community while larger names cultivate a community where women are shamed for speaking out in the first place. The fact is, he still has his platform and will until people stop pointing fingers at victims and actually stop supporting him.

Selene posted her entire conversation with Jason. Here’s a link so you can read the entire thing. But to sum it up, it’s predatory behavior. He openly shares information about his sexual preferences, openly flirts with her, creeps on her photographs, send her leaks and asks her to defend him if needed. *Read the thread below*

He also misquotes Selene in his “apology”. Selene said this about Jason MOMOA and he photoshopped/misquoted her to make it seem like she was talking about him instead (extremely weird) -
Jason liked all of her instagram photos on his private IG account and then told her that someone else did it (he conveniently leaves this portion out of his monetized apology)??? Very weird gaslighting here. He blames it on Corey, Corey’s comments on the matter are below.

Jason also claims he did not know about Selene’s age (20) even though there’s proof of him being told by one of their mutual friends.

***** Part 4 - Tracy’s interactions with Jason
Tracy knew Jason pretty well and here are some of the things she has revealed about him. This is from 2019.
Here’s someone on reddit also backing this claim up, yes I know it’s reddit but based on the comments above that are screenshots from Jason on the forums, this sounds like it has some truth to it.

Please be reminded that AAALLL of these women that have spoken out against Jason have been condemned to hell and back. People have been saying they asked for it and that they’re lying, etc. It’s very hard for women to speak up about these things in public especially when the person you’re speaking out against has a platform of any size. These women have revealed intimate things about themselves in hopes that other women are not preyed upon by Jason. Thank you to them for speaking out.

This entire conversation is so creepy. Why is a 40 year old man messaging a 15 year old and trying to give her free things? He also put her name on the leaked photo he sent her (just like he did Selene) Please watch the video and read Alexis’ own post, it’s important to understand how these women felt and I don’t want to speak on how Jason’s interactions made them feel personally.

***** Part 6 - Jason’s “apology”
First off, Jason made, what he thinks, is an apology on his website. But it’s actually just victim blaming, gaslighting and lying and to top it off HE’S PROFITING OFF OF IT. He said he was going to remove the ads, that it was an accident, but guess what? The ads are still there.

Jason knows he can get away with his behavior and resume like nothing has happened because this isn’t the first time this has happened.
Also I wanted to end this by saying all women should be coming together to speak out and stand up against Jason. I don’t care what your fandom interests are or if you don’t want to be involved in drama. There is literal proof here of his disgusting behavior. Stop supporting him, tell others to stop supporting him. He doesn’t deserve it.
All of the evidence is there, and I’m sure some people will still defend Jason Ward after this. I provided as much evidence as possible so people could form their own opinions.

Lastly, thank you to all the women and people who have spoken out against Jason Ward, thank you to the podcasts and websites that were affiliated with him for cutting ties. Thank you for the people in the Star Wars community who have been sincere and nice to the women involved. I’m sure this post will end up generating hate even towards me, and possibly towards them again, but I don’t want this to be swept under the rug and for it to happen again.
