Like there is a weird pattern where the media and fans try to find a scapegoat for a famous person's death and completely overlook the parr THEY played in it. Lady Di was literally chased to death by paparazzi. Make of that what you will.

ive been off tumblr for some months. im not committed to coming back, just wondering what was up these days. 

things are not great on my end, but i obviously have not died. i hope that last bit applies to you too.

in my experience if you're learning a language but you're worried about not pronouncing it right or sounding ridiculous in front of native speakers, I'm here to tell you that most people do not care. they don't care if you have an accent or if your mother tongue is peeking through, because in all honesty, everyone has an accent. it's unfair and frankly unrealistic to expect people to bear no remnants of their native tongue when speaking another. you've spent your entire life speaking your language, interacting with the world in it; your understanding of language is built on your native one and its natural sounds. no one can expect you to entirely shift how your brain processes words and sounds. most native speakers will just appreciate you trying at all. if it's comprehensible, if the gist of what you're saying gets across, then it's good enough. if you're trying, your accent is fine.

tbh i might delete again. debating whether its worth it or if i'd just end up coming back soon enough for it to not matter

once upon a time i deleted my tumblr. some time later i made a new one (this one) because i was trying to beat someone i knew to finding memes. that person turned out to be incredibly toxic and obsessive, and has been blocked in every way i can from my life now that im no longer forced to interact with them. despite that mess i ended up staying on anyway because i was friendly with some mutuals (most from before with my older blog) and when you meet on here its just easier to stay in contact on here. but like. i have a full-time job now and a life (most of the time), so i dont really go on here that much anyway. many of my old circle on here i dont find myself having much in common with anymore or we barely talk these days. so its like. why am i still here when i barely log on and almost none of the reasons i rejoined are applicable anymore

guess i'll just take a break and see how that goes. if this blog ends up completely abandoned, well, at least you'll know it's not because i'm dead
