Anyone else excited about the trailer the other day of the Inuyasha sequel anime? I sure was, but moreso was my wife. Inuyasha was her favorite anime growing up, so I spoiled the reveal trailer to her by drawing Moroha for her and saying “Guess what!?” “She was very happy to see the Feudal Fairy Tale continuing.

Finally drawing again after so many years. Why not start off with everyone’s favorite spellcaster, Dark Magician? Took forever getting to relearn my basics again, sorry if it’s rough.

I think it’s the mixture of the completely ashamed woman who posed for the picture as well as the fact that this ad (correctly) assumed I thought someone was fucking with me.

So Game Day is in a few hours, and after about a month and a half of planning and saving money, I finally got this deck together. The main focus is utilizing the devastating Kalonian Hydra and ending the game quickly when he reaches the field. I've done practice hands where I can get him out and quickly end the game. Here's the decklist thus far: 2x Garruk, Caller of Beasts 2x Primordial Hydra 2x Savageborn Hydra 4x Kalonian Hydra 3x Corpsejack Menace 2x Ogre Battledriver 2x Predator Ooze 4x Lightning Mauler 4x Arbor Elf 4x Elvish Mystic 4x Farseek 3x Ranger's Guile 3x Savage Summoning 4x Stomping Grounds 2x Rootbound Crag 4x Overgrown Tomb 2x Woodland Cemetery 3x Blood Crypt 2x Dragonskull Summit 4x Forest The biggest weaknesses so far has been decks that pluck off my mana dorks early as well as inoppurtune counters. That's why I have thw Guiles and Savage summonings. I don't cast the game changing hydra unless I have two mana open for the savage summoning and the Ranger's Guile to protect it for a clear sweep that turn. I'm thinking of maybe adding another Battledriver or even Exava. Thoughts? It's pretty consistent!

I tried my hand at remixing "Beginning" from Castlevania. Compared to my first rendition, this one sounds much better and I like that it seems upbeat and adventurous too.

Drawn for the quagmire page on facebook. I never actually drew any Family Guy cartoons before, but tweaking the proportions a bit makes the characters look disturbingly human...

Characters that appear in Smash Bros. often get a new game. It happened to Samus during Melee. It happened to Pit during Brawl.

That and the fact that Megaman's own creator basically had his own creation taken from him as Capcom didn't allow him to use Megaman at all when he started his own company. It's like ughh I really wish him and Sonic traded fates.
