What if...

One time I walked to Walmart at 4AM. I have very bad insomnia and so I couldn't think of anything else to mitigate it. As I walking back to my house a strange man walked right behind me. I instantly walked faster and a bit of fear came over me. But then I realized "Well, I'm just the average gay male. I doubt he wants anything to do with me lol" and so I immediately calmed down. And I was right, the man took a different path. But now I can't help but wonder... What if I was a woman? Would I be writing this right now? The parking lot and our surroundings were completely deserted. He could of easily done something if I were a woman and that thought really saddens me...
