big steps this weekend! i can’t believe we’re moving in together omg

i’m nervous but excited. i’ve never formally live with a partner before. the closest i’ve gotten in the past ive definitely overstayed my visit or been invited to move in by a partner’s parent.

this is gona be so different but i’m feeling very ready for this adventure together :)

here to dump while i’m literally dumping

let’s start with the positives (in no particular order)—

first coachella (made it back alive)

nephew turned 2 and i got to be there

spring has sprung, it’s green everywhere

snowboarding trip to mammoth was a success!! learning more every ride session

reconnecting with old coworkers lately

zack and i will be living together soon

decided to change directions with my career

admin day was super sweet

took many days off for my birthday this year and got to truly RELAX

the valentine’s day surprise was so lovely

bought 2 vacuums hehe

plants are doing ok!! waiting for the ones i don’t want to die

back on tumblr, hoping to continue my relationship with writing

papershoot photos are quite fun. been taking more pictures again lately

my little sister is finally graduating college

fitness and wellness is a bigger priority in my life now

letting go is getting easier

now onto the less positive things—

the bad from the past seems to find its way around more often. need to work on that

boundaries at work with my boss haven’t been great

i’m good at my job but i don’t want to get promoted nor do i want to stay in this position for much longer

the transition at home has been interesting and a little challenging. my dramatic tendencies have jumped out more than i’d like.

things are changing

i want to see my family more

doesn’t feel like i have enough time for everything i want to do with my day

i have to use eye warmers to keep my dry ass eyes from getting clogged

haven’t had the best luck conveying my emotions

coachella was cool but homies got into a fight and that totally dumped on my vibe for a few hours

trying to find a balance between being considerate of other people and being selfish

caught covid in march and i feel like i’m still trying to recover my routine

it’s been a while. life been lifing lately and it’s been interesting to say the least.

I had big guilty feels last week for being sick and not able to work. So this is a little self reminder that I am still a worthy and valuable being even if I can’t be productive. It’s a really hard message to internalize because we often measure our worth based on our contributions or achievements, but they aren’t inherently tied (some people can’t work, and we would not call them worthless). Thankfully the bunny guardians are here to remind us. 💛
