"Uh… 2:53 AM. Wait, we've been walking for close to 4 hours? That makes no sense— the campsite is the first landmark and it's only a 15 minute walk from the truck!" "It makes no sense."

"So… I– I uh… showed the homeowner the footage. ... The homeowner said they opened up the walls during the day. There were identical claw marks on the inside of the walls. So, so many of them. Too big for a squirrel or a raccoon or— or a human. ... The uh… they decided to move."

So, the road is haunted. In my opinion at least, Daniel remains unconvinced. He thinks it was a bunch of teen locals playing a prank on us. I think hitting his head on the road plays a part in it. But it makes no sense, the headlights just appearing and disappearing, unmoving? The eerie honking, the hearse… I think it was a ghost. The dashcam, of course, is blurry. Can barely make out anything, same for the camera. At least we have some good audio. (Faint knocking sounds) (Sighs) This was the first promising encounter we've had in weeks and of course it was a near death experience again. Maybe I should up Danny's and Nika's health insurance. Life insurance? Maybe both. We're lucky we didn't—

"So, the basement in the painter’s workshop was… something. Danny is convinced it was a person having an episode or we stumbled upon some deranged serial killer. I think it wasn’t even human. Those arms… they were as long as it’s entire body. And the teeth, sharp and thin like needles… Doesn’t really matter, we didn’t get anything except the audio and it’s not exactly convincing. Well. That’s another thing to discuss at my weekly therapy session. (Forced laughter) Nika gave us a dress-down about going on our own. Said something about chipping us? I wasn’t paying attention. I will ask her about those self-defence lessons though. I don’t really think punching will do much against a ghost but hey! You never know! And if we meet aggressive drunks or squatters again, it would be more helpful than hiding behind Nika. (Not too convinced) Maybe. Possibly."
