Tell me about the fairytale episode idea you had, if that's alright :)
The general concept that has been with me through every fandom is “sleeping beauty is awoken by a kiss from their true love” cause it’s always struck me as The Most Romantic Thing Ever
The way it would work for TDA but Noco though is as follows:
One of the contestants is still chosen to be a princess for the challenge, but since Courtney is not here to do it for reasons, it lands on Cody to be the princess. In true punching bag Cody fashion. Sorry Cody.
The rest of the contestants go to the set where they find Cody in mmmmaybe the same dress Courtney was in? Maybe a different dress or a prince suit? Pending. The contestants also wear crowns and helmets like in the original episode, but it’s not meant to obscure their vision. The first part of the challenge is skipped entirely and we jump straight to the tower.
The first part of the challenge here is to slay the dragon (which is still the mecha monster from the first episode.) The goal is to defeat the dragon, but making it to the top of the tower to protect the princess from the beast is grounds to making it to the next part of the challenge. Cody is granted immediate immunity if he manages to stay in the tower through all of the chaos. At least three people move on, two (one of those being Noah) making it to the top of the tower and one defeating the dragon.
Chef promptly knocks out Cody for the next part of the challenge: True Loves Kiss! The goal of this challenge is to give sleeping beauty a kiss worthy of waking her up; basically make a big deal of waking up your true love. Immunity is granted to whoever put on the best performance. I haven’t the slightest idea who even made it this far, so skipping to Noah, who’s last to go because of course he is.
He’s monotone and un energized throughout the whole performance, but his word choice and the look on his face while doing it shows sincerity in what he’s saying to Cody. He ends it with a soft kiss on Cody’s cheek, and fanfare starts playing from nearby speakers, which startled Cody awake.
Chris declares Noah the winner of the challenge, which makes the other two contestants mad cause he was monotone damnit!!! No expression in his voice or actions at all how did he win!!! Chris elaborates that yeah, the performance was lackluster, but you could tell he truly meant what he said, and that’s what would of truly woken up the princess in the fairytale. THATS why he won. Needless to say Noah hasn’t said a word since the performance and is flustered as all hell. Cody’s just confused and groggy.
Cut to the elimination ceremony, which is not planned out at all. That’s all I got. It’s extremely rough but the True Loves Kiss trope has such a strong chokehold on me that this just manifested so. Huzzah!
