AITA for betting on my best friend's sexuality?

I, 17M, have a best friend who we'll call Tsu(16M). Ever since I met him, it's been kind of obvious to me that he's a little... 🫳, yknow? Just a bit fruity.

When I asked him, though, he made a really disgusted expression and proclaimed that he was only attracted to women, as homosexuality was "disgusting." That was really offputting.

Despite that, my sister(17F) and I made a bet. I bet that, at some point during the year, he'd admit he was into dudes. However, she countered with the bet that he'd stay in the closet the entire year.

Needless to say, I won. Last week, Tsu and another classmate of ours, who we'll call Mae(16M), admitted to the class that they were dating and had been for roughly a month and a half.

This is how Tsu found out about the bet. :(

I threw my hands into the air and cheered before demanding that my sister fork over the money, which really upset Tsu because we were betting on him + his sexuality. A few of my classmates agree that it's an asshole move, but I don't see the problem? It's harmless and, ultimately, very funny.

So, AITA?

I don't know, OP. I'm not sure you're the asshole, but I can't quite say you're NTA either. If I were in their shoes, I wouldn't be too happy about my identity being the target of a bet, even if it did seem obvious to you and funny to you two. I can understand why Tsu would be upset about it.

I get that these kinds of games can be fun though, and I'm sure you two didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings.

Since I imagine you two make a habit of this sort of thing, here's a little tip you didn't hear from me. If that 'Mae' guy gets involved in a bet or has an opinion one way or the other, you should pick what he picks. I have a feeling you might just win.

Now that tenor isn't really a thing for discord or google, my silly dra blingees don't show up when I search for them in discord anymore sigh. I'll happily upload them elsewhere if anyone has suggestions, it'd prefer if people could keep sharing them as it was clear from the numbers people somewhere must have been using them lmao. I know because tenor sends you emails when they get certain milestones.

I'm sorry it's pretty hilarious that the despair Kinjo one is at 777 I'm sorry that's just... Also I think that makes it the most shared dra one

Unsurprisingly, Junko's blingee is the most popular by a despair inducing landslide /silly

It is also unsurprising that the one SDRA2 blingee outpaced most of the DRA ones.

Though to be honest, I was a bit surprised anyone was sharing some of these, haha. The Kinjo one always makes me laugh, and I still use the Maeda cottagecore esque one on pages and things now and then.

The Kisaragi sibs take the crown for dra gifs besides the Kinjo despair sticker, not surprising at all, also I think the Kisaragi blingee might be the best one I've made, I remember spending a long ass time placing all the stars and gears and sparkles and fish and custom text it was so fun. "Life is a carnival of nothing" is the one I have a soft spot for though lol, and apparently a few people actually used the Utsuro gifs.

The cat/dog ear beta sprite blingees were actually for an inside joke/RP icons a long time ago, but they still amuse me.

Another artfight attack! This one is my fourth. Been taking a break from drawing humans. This one is a frutiger aqua pony I designed for @softwarepony

(it was a 'design me an OC' prompt)

As you might have noticed with all the EDP ponies lmao I do very much like designing characters, esp non human ones, so it was a treat to be able to do an art fight attack like this.

Also, I think artfight is gonna get me to break my "other art goes on my side blog" rule. I think I might move some of the off topic art over or post it here when it does happen, we'll see.

Honestly I might change my blog arrangement a little, idk...

I've been looking at a lot of ponies I want to attack and it's just made me want to draw and write more of my own horses hehe. Honestly, I've not done many attacks so far, but for my standards it's been going better than expected, and I've been having a blast with my first artfight so far! My battle ratio is like 67% right now, I'm doing well.

Design notes from the attack page below:

- specific inspo were i-dogs, Nova Stars dolls, frutiger aero stuff like the windows ui/backgrounds from the 2000s and softsoap dispensers. Basically y2k and frutiger aqua things!

- there's an optional sea pony form that's more seal-like. This could be what they look like when using a hippogriff charm. frutiger aero can be very marine so I wanted to draw a sea pony form too.

- the opaque ish "antennae" and "wings" are based on i-dogs' ears, and could be treated as removable accessories if desired instead.

- limbs are seni-opaque to opaque and have liquid inside kind of like Nova Stars dolls. The little items floating in there are charms, not actual fish or anything.

- the haircut is kind of like a jellyfish cut... Sorta... And the markings are kind of like a harp seal... Sorta (if you squint haha) and bubbles! They were also not designed with a specific gender or personality in mind or anything.

- the cutie mark being a cursor over a wave is what gave me the idea for the name "web surfer"

Danganronpa Another Remaster: Full Prologue Preview

So.... I have some DRA Remaster news once again! I'm excited to share that the remaster is progressing well and that today, I have a completed preview to pass along!

From the perspective of someone whose been helping out behind the scenes on this for a long time, it's really something to see the project get closer and closer to being complete. I'm really proud of what we've done so far, and I hope you'll go and give Ink some support as he's been working really hard translating everything from scratch (and doing a billion other things!)

Here's a traditional Clover Shores with some flower symbolism for the tail end of pride month. Honestly, this would be very fitting for Tsurugi and Yuki, but I had no interest in drawing humans for this so I drew Clover instead.

Lavender (both the color and the flower) are part of the many symbols associated with and used by the queer community. The plant itself has a calming and pleasant scent, and is often used in soaps, teas, candles, and as a sleep aid.

Apparently though, despite all of this, in floriography, it carries a meaning of distrust, something that supposedly originated from a belief that venomous asps made their home in lavender fields.

I'm not sure how much I'll end up being able to participate, but I've always wanted to give it a go, and since apparently AU characters are okay, my 'allergic to normal ocs' self can have an actual roster lol.

also a couple of dragon ocs I am still fond of so it's not all silly horses... I still have a lot of characters to add oof. wish me luck.

Edit: Added more characters and changed this to match and added a little thrift and ember. My artfight profile should be pretty much complete now. (left the old one below to avoid confusion)

I realized I've accumulated a lot of screenshots from my forever world, so I decided to archive some of them in a post.

There's actually a lot more stuff in this world, but I decided to focus (mostly) on my own builds and screenshots I've taken of them... Also! I included some screenshots with some of my friends and users in them, let me know if you want them removed or anything!

bug thoughts below the cut. This is mostly ramblings for future bug (or maybe the folks who've visited my domain /silly) so watch out I'm getting retrospective over something of mine.

I've had this world for probably 1-2 years now? Somewhere around there, I dunno, time is an illusion... I think I made it sometime in 2024 or 2025 though. As you can see, I've made a lot of builds (the KF towers build in particular has been VERY long term, planned pretty much from the beginning and remains unfinished still, though I've made some huge strides on it recently thanks to some help from a friend.

I've been playing Minecraft since the 2010s, but over the last few years, I kinda stopped playing except in short bursts here or there whenever there was an update or I found a server I wanted to visit. This world kinda changed that, as I've held onto it ever since and have even invited various acquaintances to play and given a few friends access.

Minecraft is a very zen game for me, and one that helps me relax or get through those flare up days when I can't do much. Gaming has often served this kind of role for me in general, ngl. However, overtime, this world has become a sort of digital third space... It's something of an art project for me too, I guess, and a place I've spent a lot of time with my friends.

As such, I've gotten pretty attached to the world (friendly reminder to back up your worlds! that goes for you too, future bug /silly) and at times I can be a little protective over the space and more picky about whether or not I want others around. (Part of why I don't really post about it) (all three of you seeing this right now get a little peek and that's it /silly)

It's always been my space. Sometimes others are there too, and the people who've been around ebbs and flows with interest or availability, with some more long term visitors, and some guests who've only briefly stopped by my door.

Whether they stick around for a long time or just a short while, or if people stop playing, the things they made remain, in traces big and small.

Maybe it's a bit overly sentimental to think about it that way, but it's something that's been in the back of my mind from the beginning so it seems appropriate to try and express my thoughts here.

Also, to speak directly to those friends who've left a mark on my little minecraft world, either making things or just keeping me company in this odd little digital third space, thank you. I really do appreciate it.
