"Hmm, maybe yer right." Clara smirked, raising an eyebrow. "A surprise?"
"What is it?"
"Well, if I told you it wouldn't be much of a surprise now would it?"
"When do you get off?"

"Hmm, maybe yer right." Clara smirked, raising an eyebrow. "A surprise?"
"What is it?"
"Well, if I told you it wouldn't be much of a surprise now would it?"
"When do you get off?"
"Memories warm you up from the inside. But they also tear you apart."
"Shut up!" Clara chuckled, tossing her hair. "Yer unbelievable." Crossing the room to give him a quick kiss on the cheek, she shook her head. "Remind me why I put up with ye?"
"Because you loveeee me." He teases, pulling her back to kiss him on the lips.
"Besides, I have a surprise for you.."
Never a dull moment around here. [Clara shook her head, holding back a yawn.]
I could use a drink right now, but there’s a wee little problem called work I’ve gotta take care of first.
Ahikar leaned in the doorway, arms crossed, with his usual smirk on his face. "All work and no play makes Clara a dull girl.."

S-sickbay? Who?
Clara shivered, gripping Ahikar tight;y not wanting to let go. “I thought ye were dead… or ye were dead…” she trailed off.
"Yer here now. That’s all that matters, right?" she tried to smile faintly.
Ahikar lifted his hand, fingers brushing loosely across Clara's cheek as he connected their lips.
"I'm not dead." He whispered through kisses. "I'm here..You couldn't get rid of me that easily." A smirk crossed his lips as he breathed out a laugh.

S-sickbay? Who?
Clara flinched at the touch, turning slowly to look up at him. Her voice was hoarse from crying. “Yer really here, aren’t ye?” she asked softly. “Ahikar? Yer not fooling with me?”
Finally turning to look at Ahikar, Clara closed her eyes and let out a small sob. “Oh, God. Yer here, oh God, yer not dead…”
Ahikar held Clara tighter, accidentally. It'd felt as though he hadn't held her in ages.
"I'm here." He buried his head in her neck. "I'm not going anywhere.. I promise." Ahikar's voice was breathy and weak, but his strength was still shining through. He wouldn't give up. He wouldn't die. Not until Clara was ready for it.

S-sickbay? Who?
Clara didn’t even bother looking up. She knew that voice, and knew it wasn’t real. “I’m hallucinating,” she murmured to herself. “This isn’t real. Yer not here. Ye cannae be here.”
Ahikar's smile dropped, but he forced it back up. "You didn't think I could cross over without saying goodbye, did you?" He would pay for this joke later, but it was the only thing he could do to keep from crying.
She was so beautiful, he thought, as he inched closer to her. He rested his hands at her waist and let his mouth brush across her neck.
Something came out of the….? There were living things there?
"Seems so.." Ahikar shrugged his shoulders. "It was oddly plant-like for being on such a cold planet, and reminded me of some kind of sea kracken coming out of the ground."
He shifted his eyes downward as he thought for a minute. "I should have known that wasn't an isolated planet.."
Something hit me…. and… we’re back on the ship? Were we attacked?
"Honestly...It's hard to say. So much has happened." Ahikar rolls his eyes at himself. "Embarrassingly enough, I was almost done in by the frost..not what came out of it."
Do you know what happened down there?
Unfortunately I do, sir.

Ahikar stumbled up against the open door frame to Clara's office. He'd been allowed to walk around as he regained strength. "Who do you think?" He teased with his usual smirk weighing wearily on his face.
Wha-? How long have I been out?
Ugh… I feel like i’ve slept an eternity.
"I know how you feel.."
Hearing the man wake, Valeris, who had offered his assistance with Tumek’s recovery, gathered his PADD and sat up from his desk. From around the corner of the man’s bed, the Vulcan walked into view, “Mr. Tumek, do not stress yourself. Your vitals are currently stable and you are recovering quickly. Your partial Klingon decent has certainly given you one advantage,” The xenobiologist glanced over the man’s screens, nodding and jotting down notes to his PADD.
Ahikar scrunched his eyebrows at everything the man was saying. "But what happened?" He snapped, without even really meaning to. He groaned and dropped back onto his pillow, loud throbs clouding his thoughts. The lieutenant felt as though his head would surely explode.
Ahikar opened an eye, his voice barely that of a slight mumble. "W-who are you, anyway?"
Waking up in a quiet hospital bed, Ahikar sits up, confused, as he looks around the room.
"Wh-What happened?" His voice caught, getting slightly louder as his eyes searched around for someone else.
