It's still not enough.

By the time the third bottle sits empty and tossed aside haphazardly in the direction of the trashcan, your belly is in distress. Sticky fingers reach forward, pressing the stretch marks of your distended gut as I coo about how good you're being for me. Your gut gurgles in response, a low, wet, rumble, that leaves you reaching forward to clutch at it as well. To try and quell whatever ordeal your belly has started. The array of plates and platters scattered on the table tell a story of sheer gluttony that would put a bear prepping for hibernation to shame. The griddle is still warm from the newest batch of hotcakes. But those were pushed down your flabby gullet just as quickly as the batches before. Muffled whines of protest or discomfort as your stomach voiced its own discouragement. Each plate was cleared, and in the beginning I made sure you were licking the plates clean, fork in hand clinking against the backs. Though after you'd begun panting, I'd started bringing the plates closer to you, seated eagerly atop your quickly disappearing lap as I pushed forkfuls of pancake into your mouth, then eventually discarded the silverware altogether in favor of my fingers, wiping your lips and leaving sticky marks of syrup across your skin.

When I'd used all the batter I could possibly whip up, I'd walked reached to the table and passed you the jug of syrup, plastic case covered in its own adhesive and making an audible tug whenever you cautiously resituated your hands. I goad you on, rubbing your stomach but insisting it could be bigger with a pitiful and almost mournful expression. And eventually you comply, tilting your head back after unscrewing the lid. With each monotonous chug, you feel the syrup settle like a thick sludge among the digesting mound of pancakes already distressing your guts. The viscosity of the syrup makes the process feel as though it lasts forever, each swig leaves your fattening cheeks puffed and reddening. You glance to me and I nod encouragingly before you eventually finish the bottle.

Two more follow and your belly sits engorged by the end, red around the parts your skin pulls tightest, and shaking with each inhale and exhale as you pant. But I return with a few cans of whipped cream afterwards and I stare up at you pleadingly. With a sigh, you push the nozzle into your lips and press down. The hiss of pressure combined with the filling of your mouth makes an easy rhythm. Hiss, swallow, hiss, swallow. And before you know it, you're down a can.

I take the next can and aim it at your reddening gut, spraying a large smiley face across the quivering dome of skin that I then have you eat off in messy handfuls. Fingers now smeared in syrup and cream. The food sits like a boulder in your gut as it gurgles, wet warbles of digestion as you lean back, rubbing the sensitive skin. Maybe we can do breakfast in bed next time ᥫ᭡.
