Hi, I'm Envy, it's nice to meet you. I run the show here, though frankly I've no idea how to make an introduction like one of these. I'm a tired, bisexual, genderfluid 20-something trying to create art professionally. A few things I love and you'll see a lot of are: - Dragons & other magical creatures - Video Games (World of Warcraft, FFXIV, Spyro, Psychonauts, etc.) - Creative Writing, Reading, and Artwork - The Furry and Therian communities respectively - OC works, of which I hope to post many in between work Important Notes: - I will not entertain bigotry, fascism or harassment on my blog. I don't have a lot of rules, but that won't be put up with in any form. If you don't believe in human rights, including trans rights, you don't belong on my page. - This is an 18+ blog! am I going fucking crazy? the fact that trans women, who are often traumatised, often neurodivergent, and barely employable even without those complicating factors due to transmisogyny alone, are forced to rely on romantic/sexual relationships to survive is a fucking INJUSTICE to us. It's an incredibly, miserably precarious place to be in when your partner is your caretaker and you'd die on the street if you lost their favour somehow. NOBODY WANTS TO LIVE LIKE THIS! Nobody wakes up and goes "nyehehe, today I will put my life in the hands of people whose attraction to me is the only stopgap between safety and social murder" on purpose. WE DO IT BECAUSE WE LACK INFRASTRUCTURE TO PROTECT OUR MOST VULNERABLE!!! Our options are "homeless", "institutionalised", or "depending on people to have enough goodwill to give us a couch to sleep on and not murder us".

didnt know how to interpret "make it a lizard" so i wrote lizard and drew an arrow pointing to the horse so people know its a lizard. Also didn't know what bat horns were so I gave it a horned bat nose

"wait, where ARE all the scars?"

since ive seen a general lack of knowledge on what common transfeminine surgical scars look like and some people asking recently, here are a few basic ones! transfem scars tend to be in subtler places than transmasc scars, since mastectomy scars are usually visible unless you have large pecs and the phalloplasty graft leaves a very distinct geometric shape.

#1: the hairline revision scar! this scar goes from temple to temple along the very edge of the forehead. this can be placed very similarly to facelift scars. lowering the hairline is a potential aesthetic treatment for androgenic alopecia ("male pattern baldness"), also helped somewhat by feminising hrt and specific anti-hairloss drugs.

#1.5: other FFS scars. FFS scars are usually hidden! most cosmetic surgeries can disguise scars inside of the mouth and nose, and those that can't be hidden internally are placed in folds at the hairline or neck and will fade significantly once they heal.

#2: breast augmentation scars! the cut of most bras and swimwear hides these well, but they're usually hidden in the fold under the breast or inside the curve of the armpit. they're not as wide or prominent as mastectomy scars, but they're ubiquitous in people who have had implants. these scars are about 5 cm long and usually very tidy looking.

honourable mention: vaginoplasty scars! these won't usually be visible in art (although shoutout to the very talented and very nsfw artist glopossum for drawing a massive variety of pre- and post-op transfeminine genitals, including different sizes and functionalities of penises, orchidectomy, and different depths of vaginoplasty) but they are there! most often, the scars run parallel to the labia and are subtle, blending in with the crease between the groin and thigh.

most trans women don't have all of these and of these scars will NOT be visible or obvious to the average person, so this isn't a call to run and add super obvious scars to the hairlines and boobs of all of your transfem characters (in fact, please don't!) but it IS something to keep in mind for general education and for when depicting a wide variety of transfeminine bodies. yay!
