. = Come Be a Loser = .
ace was always a curious little fellow, and even more so when it came to things in the sense of music. and even more so than that because it came down to his music room, one of which he dedicated as a second home here in school aside from his dorm for the residency of his school life. now her fingers were dancing across the keys of the piano in such a way he knew, as many would stand in awe to watch several days when he did so, in both piano and guitar, and almost any other instrument he would pick up. though this woman â it was in such a sense that the music touched her. something that he had known for years â but only thought it was applicable to himself. it was amazing to see from the outside looking in.
and then came the vocals. he could hear from the outside, a trained ear to the music as the random pieces were placed together in such a way that it seemed almost angelic. he had made sure that he wasnât pressed completely against the door, but it seemed that as the song came to an end, he had leaned too close and the door creaked ever so slightly. his head ducked from the window out of instinct, only to peek up after a few moments when he felt was most safe, watching as her eyes watched back toward the sheet stand on the piano. and then, he decided, was when he would make his move.
apollo had no trouble slipping in. the double doors were something he would slip in and out on several occasions a day, both during and after and often before school as well. he slipped between the doors and gave a charming smile to the woman he felt would turn around, as her attention would undoubtedly be pressed to the door now after the encounter. his back pressed against the doors for a moment to assure their closure, tilting his head as he glanced at the piano and then at the woman sat in front of it. he had known the woman for a while now, but never to the extent of her hobbies â and this was, without a doubt, interesting.Â
âhiya, luv. i saw you storm out at the meeting and i just wanted to check up on you â it seems my best friend has calmed you, though.â he cooed, stepping forward to show that he wasnât trying to trap her inside or anything of the likes. âyouâve a talent, ri.âÂ
Yuri froze, completely. The piano made an abrupt cluster of harsh notes as she slammed her fingers down on the keys to end the song, a song she hadnât even begun properly when a smooth male voice spoke up behind her. Whipping around, the first thing she caught sight of was the blur of pink hair, and then the chiseled form of none other an Apollo Lee, the high priest of fraxinus and representative of the council. He stood before her and how he slipped past her weary senses put her in a state of disbelief, but she tried not to dwell on it too much.
âApollo,â Yuri spoke calmly, eyes narrowing down into thin slits as she glared at the man before her, a touch of venom in her words in unappreciativeness at being disturbed. Her eyes traveled slowly from Apollo to the piano and back again as she thought, her expression unreadable as she tucked a loose strand of velvety hair behind her ear.
âA talent? Ha, you mean something that nearly everyone can do?â She asked, a  twitch of a smirk lifting on her lips as she raised an eyebrow at the pink-haired male. She was in a state of denial, that was for sure, plus the fact that she didnât like it when others disturbed her peace. Swinging her legs over the side of the piano bench, she turned to face him fully and placed her hands delicately on the tops of her knees. Her gaze ran up and down the cocky bastard as she finally stood up, one swift motion and a few strides later earning a placement in front of him.
âAlthough I bet you say that to a lot of people, trying to get them in your little club.â She turned her head to the side as she placed a hand lightly on her hip, leaning on one leg. Her eyes didnât hold the original sense of a calm before a storm, more like a hint of amusement at his actions and persona, amusement at where this was going to lead.
âSo tell me, Apollo, what are you trying to do?âÂ
