ALSO! if you want to know why some of them think that this decision is okay and the so-called “reasoning” behind their votes, here is one guy in particular you can hate:
Twelve House Republicans broke party ranks to vote on a bill that would cap insulin at $35 per month for most Americans. Gaetz voted "no."
Some high-level ignorance in the notes, so:
1) lifesaving medicine should be free to all who need it
2) insulin is not expensive to produce
3) people with type 1 diabetes, a genetic autoimmune disorder and nothing to do with diet and/or lifestyle, need insulin daily to live, regardless of their diet and/or lifestyle.
4) weight loss can help many patients with type 2 diabetes manage their disease, but it is not a cure and does not help everyone
5) fat people deserve to live
if you’ll excuse me for a second, i just need to scooch over here for a second and
*ahem*
5) FAT PEOPLE DESERVE TO LIVE
6) adding an eating disorder to either sort of diabetes makes everything worse; risking adding an eating disorder to either sort of diabetes does not make anything better
7) see point 5

This classic look takes me back to my childhood running around epcot learning as much as I could.

It’s fall, y’all!
A detail I’ve never noticed or appreciated is this wall by some bathrooms. I studied abroad in Madagascar, and seeing these adorable lemur and chameleon cartoons made my heart soar!
The details! I will always be amazed by the tree of life ❤️

Coming back to her in a couple weeks after over a year. Can’t wait! ☀️
Just thinking about how I renewed my Disney pass the week before quarantine started, and there was most likely covid everywhere. This was one of the last photos of me that day.
It’s been a hard year, but I’m set to get vaccinated and I cannot wait for my first time back in the Disney parks!
Wish I were here ♥️
Mornings in the Morocco Pavilion 💙
Just found out some bad news about when I’ll be getting a covid vaccine, and it’s going to be a lot longer than previously stated. So I won’t be going back to Disney with my annual pass anytime soon and it’ll expire before I can get my vaccine. I’m really sad. It also means I won’t be able to go back and see family this summer, as I had hoped, and my BF will be teaching in person (and they’re lifting all precautions, so his students will be crowded and maskless).
So here’s a little bit more about me to feel a little bit better:
Ever since I was little, Pirates of the Caribbean has been my favorite ride. I was like OBSESSED with the old barker bird out front, and listen to the tunnel music while working all the time. When I first brought my BF to Disney, he wasn’t super impressed. Rides make him nauseous, he hates crowds, and he’s not very into Disney. But boy, did he love Pirates of the Caribbean. It’s our must do!
