KoG Theory/Thought
So about a month before Knights of Guinevere came out I saw a documentary the History Channel did called Built America Presents “Making Magic”. If you're familiar with 'The ___ that Built America' shows it's basically that but for the accomplishments of Walt Disney and his company.
My favorite part of the acted sections was how they portrayed the relationship between Walt and and his older brother Roy. Walt was portrayed as an imaginative dreamer who was also an extreme perfectionist. Roy was level headed one who made sure that his baby brother didn't bankrupt their business. It reminded me of the relationship that my siblings and I have.
After watching Knights of Guinevere I kept comparing the Parks to the Disney's. Orville is obviously a parallel to Walt. I think Olivia is supposed to be the other Roy Disney (son of the former) in a sense. That just leaves Roy Sr. to be placed.
I think that he could be the mother that people say Gwen is based off of.
The only strand of evidence I have for this is that the Gwen-Mom theory implies that the family fell apart after her death. If Roy wasn't by Walt's side throughout his life, the studio would have gone bankrupt with Snow White.
Anyone want to add to this theory or correct anything I missed?
