Her name is Berlinda Nibo. She was walking home when the mob started yelling insults, threats and calling her the n-word. When she responded to them, “they pushed her around, smacked her, snatched her wig from her head, and at one point, pepper-sprayed her, she said. Nibo said she believes the crowd would have tried to kill her had it not been for a man who stepped in to shield her before she was carried away.”

This is a hate crime. The man in the photo was not helping her, he yelled at her and assaulted her with the rest of the fascists. She was almost murdered by those. sick freaks. They all deserve to be hung.

Not to sound rude, but Kaitlyn Liao, Craig Hsaio, Michelle Nguyen, and the RoE siblings are not Korean. It’d be nice if you didn’t use K Pop idols as their faceclaims, but use any actual Chinese, Vietnamese, or Filipino or Chinese faceclaim for them, respectively, bc for someone like me and other Asians, it’s very obvious when a character is a certain ethnicity. The only Korean characters are Ben Park, Tara from #LoveHacks, and possibly Hana–who could possibly Chinese, Japanese, or Korean, bc her name could be either. I don’t mean to be disrespectful, I just wanted to put that out there.

i think there is something about people who were abused/neglected as kids that makes us embrace things that others consider monstrous. i dont think its a coincidence most of us like “creepy” animals like rats and crows. i dont think its a coincidence that we are the first to jump to the defense of “worthless” plants like dandelions. its why we get so attached to old toys and broken things. when you spend your whole life believing you’re not wanted, it turns you into a defender of the other unwanted things in the world. and you’re not just protecting them - you’re protecting the part of yourself that still believes you deserve to exist. just like they do. just like we all do.
