Various and sundry silliness
Grey boy, Greebo... Potato, potahto. Lord Grey here certainly has the 'tude to match with Sir Pterry's Greebo, but our tabby, Aramus, is the real boss cat when it comes to strength. #persiancat #grey #fluffy #monochrome #greyscale #getit? #catsofinstagram (at Sacramento, California)

25 ISO film. On a moving boat. With a zoom lens. Handheld.
Yeah.
State of the grain.
My camera collection grows. I’ll be back to posting regular content here, hopefully.
Here’s the state of my collection, when it comes to actual cameras.
35mm:
Canon AV-1 (1979) - An Aperture I must admit I find myself reaching for this one hardly at all. I have new shiny lenses for my EOS cameras and I just find those to be nicer.
Canon EOS 650 (1987) - This is actually the VERY FIRST Canon EOS camera. Haven’t used it much yet, but it works fine.
Canon Rebel G (1995) - My mainstay, a light, cheap film camera that Just Works for a lot of my shots. Most of the film stuff I take is on this camera.
Konstruktor F (2015 ish) - My VERY FIRST film camera. A kit that you assemble into a fully working 35mm camera. My first shots are from this one, and I like it-somewhat. It’s quite limited in what it can do, and the top down view finder just doesn’t work very well for me. I love it, but I think I’m going to stick to my latest aquisition, which is
Medium Format:
Holga 120 GFN (New): A medium format Holga- a toy plastic camera with a glass lens and a flash. I haven’t developed any film with this one yet, but I’m excited to see some!
Also, on Wednesday, I have a new toy coming- An Instax Mini 8. In pink. Because I like pink. Do you have a problem with that?
Do you?
Sydney Opera House, and a seaplane coming in to land on Rose Bay.
Both of these were taken from unstable surfaces, (A boat for the first, and a moving dock for the second) in windy conditions, handheld, with a zoom lens on Ektar 100 ISO (Pretty slow) film.
No digital tomfoolery here, just simple mechanical stabilizers. Thank you Tamron :D

It's too cold out there. YOU go for a walk. #dogsofinstagram #chihuahua #blanket #cold #fluffy #cute (at Sacramento, California)
Not my usual fare, but I had this song stuck in my head...
Bring it in the kitchen
wash it in the water
maybe change the stuffing
put it right side round
doesnt look the same now
it's still really faded
but it’s still the same one you carried around
everything stays
right where you left it
everything stays
but if you take care,
and treat it rightly,
daily and nightly
you’ll find that it pays
cause everything stays
A walk in the garden this morning. Roses and other flowers... I really need to learn the rose names. Or the flower names. I suck. Anyway, enjoy!
