Every equestrian has those moments when it all comes together, when you finally see your hard work pay off. Whether it's your horse neighing to you when he/she sees you coming or finally getting that blue ribbon, this is the place to come and celebrate them :) We are really busy at the moment - sorry. I am 17 do you think its late to start riding ?

Hey friend! Absolutely not! You can start riding at any age. Yes, most people start younger but that's not a problem at all. In a way you'll progress quicker because you're more mature! At 17 you're still perfectly young, you'll pick it up pretty quickly and improve quickly too. Thee's no reason why you can't start now, just find some reputable riding stables to start getting lessons at and see where it takes you, best of luck!

You'll be a bit behind most people your age who ride, but not for all that long. I know 12 year olds who ride better than some 17 year olds I know. It's all about what you put into it. Please don't feel discouraged by your age <3

I made a new blog... Please follow!

Okay so I decided to make a ziggy365 blog so I won’t clog up this blog with training posts. However, I would really, really appreciate if you’d go follow it too. I won’t post loads on there so it won’t clog up your dash, it’ll generally be a post a day if that. I’ll be posting on there how I’m retraining Ziggy from polo to jumping and dressage so if anyone is interested in that, then follow. Also just general horse discussion, training methods etc, that you can use on your own horse, polo or not. 

It would mean the world to me if you would follow it, and link it to your followers too, but honestly even just some feedback would be good. I’ll start taking more pictures of Ziggy too as I hardly have any so far, as well as posting some pictures of Ziggy from her polo days too :)

Please do not make your submissions toooo specific

A) It makes it pretty hard to find a picture to go with it, so if you have a very specific image then please send us one we can use

B) They tend to get very long and it's difficult to fit the text over the picture without covering the whole thing up

We really appreciate all the submissions but sometimes they're very difficult to make work.

If you like, submit a story about you and your horse and we can post it as a text post, that would be fine.

Hey! Excellent blog you two have here. Just wondering if y'all were aware that the Facebook page 'you say "jump" horse people say "set up the fences while I adjust my stirrups"' was posting your submissions on their page?

Hi, thank you so much :)

We did not know, so thank you for telling us! That page did not ask us if they could and have no permission to use our submissions so I will be messaging them asking them not to use our content again. We spend time making each submission and we have permission to use the pictures we use from their owners, but no one agreed to have their pictures posted here without credit, so I will get them taken down. 

If anyone else sees our content anywhere other than on this blog, please do let us know! It's really irritating seeing other people just stealing our stuff to get likes.

Hey everyone! We're really sorry we've been so inactive lately.. We've both had a lot going on, plus my computer broke down and was being a bit of a dip shit for a while buuuut I got a new laptop and I'm literally just installing my editing software RIGHT NOW to get some submissions done. But these are people who I love & respect, a lot of them post their own stuff too which is great, and some are opinionated, which is awesome, in my opinionated opinion :) Quite a few, like DOAW, TCH, etc can also teach you a lot!
