Hello yumeship/selfship and fictionkin communities.... I have a proposition for a new term since there doesn't seem to be one yet....

"Kinship"

Kinshipping is when you kin a character from a piece of media, and find yourself attracted to their partner / whoever you ship the with!

Example: You kin Character A, and you ship A with Character B (or A is canonically in a relationship with B)! So, when you start to kin A, you find yourself attracted to and feeling as if you're in a relationship with B!

It's basically a combination of yumeshipping/selfshipping and fictionkins! There might be a term for this already, but for the life of me I cannot find one, so if there is please lmk! Byebye!

It's nuts how common it is to not allow children to be angry, even (especially) in households where adults are angry all the time. As a child I knew my own anger was unacceptable--not just expressing it outwardly but feeling it at all. So now as an adult my immediate reaction to my own anger is often to feel guilt instead of like. Noticing when someone is being rude or unfair or my boundaries are being violated or whatever. fucked up.
