An Ongoing Exercise on Perspective: The Salt Shaker Has Been Restored, 2016
Selfie, Snapception
Two dining halls, both alike in dignity, In fair Bryn Mawr, where we lay our scene, From ancient stoves break to new salt and paper shakers, Where civil cross-contamination makes civil hands unclean. From forth the hot lines of these two foes A pair of star-cross'd lovers drop their shifts Whose misadventured scheduling piteous overthrows Do with their hard work bury their Supervisors' strife. The fearful passage of their improperly labeled food And the continuance of their Supervisors' watch, Which, but their children's time card, nought could clock out, Is now the two hours' shift of our stage; The which if you with patient ears attend, What here shall miss, our toil shall strive to mend.
