I can't believe it has already been 7 months since I first made Keith's jacket. I guess I can say that I improved somewhat ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I think you can probably guess~ my next cosplay will be Keith from Voltron: Legendary Defender. I kept messing up on the sleeve (this is what happens when you work with stretchy fabric with an uncooperative sewing machine...) Before I work on the collar, waistband, and other details, my main concern is the back panel. I have an idea on how I'm going to go on about it, but we shall see~

Working on a new cosplay!! First picture just shows me modding the hell out of the panel placement. Nothing big on this day; just cut and sewed myself some lining which will hopefully make it look more professional.

SHE IS COMPLETE!!! I finished Bee's outfit from Bee and Puppycat from the episode 'Toast Dogs Wedding Donut' though I believe it's just from 'Donut' Just in time for Katsucon. Who else is going??

I forgot how many days I've been working on this cosplay, but only 2 weeks have passed (I didn't work on it everyday...) I can't wait for this to be done...

Day 3 - The hem of my skirt needs to be a pinkish-brown, so I will be using Rits dye is fushia already diluted with water, and because I did not have brown fabric dye, I used a distress stain in vintage photo. I need to wait until tomorrow to see how the colors turned out. Excuse my horrible pattern for the sleeve, I completely BS’D it. I’ve cut out the sleeves and sewn them together (not pictured) I’ve pinned the raw edges of the armhole and will proceed to make it a clean finish tomorrow; I accidentally caught a cold.

Day 2 - Yes, my room is a mess!! I was able to get my sewing machine running again it constantly stops accepting the thread I’ve hand sewn the skirt panels to the bodice, took me about 3 hours.

So I need your guys help. On Black Friday or Cyber Monday, I really want to buy a serger. I don’t think a plain 301 stitch can hold all the raw edges, and I waited/saved for 2 years, so I’m ready. Can anyone recommend me a serger?
