When I was very young i wanted to be a firefighter, then i wanted to be a policeman, But as I got older i wanted to be a gymnast and then I wanted to be a doctor and now i’m and actor.

About Eric:

After his parents were killed in a car accident when he was six, Eric was adopted by a local family in Nightvale. Because he still has concrete memories of his biological family, he has trouble calling either of his adoptive mothers ‘mom.’

Eric has always been uncertain what he wants to do with his life. He spent two years in college with an undecided major before dropping out and settling for a job his adoptive mother found him. He feels like he’s meant for more, but he has no idea what it is.

He has vague memories of a life outside Nightvale, Eric hasn’t spent enough time outside the town as an adult to really comprehend Nightvale’s daily activities as less than normal. His early childhood memories are so clouded with nostalgia that he’s more or less convinced himself that the lack of Nightvale-style oddities is simply a figment of his imagination. He tends to write any outsiders’ talks of Nightvale’s differences from the outside world off as exaggeration.
