I drew a friend as one of my hoser apocalypse characters and this marine scavenger is the result

"Cpl. Betty Bacon, Sniper for the Canadian Values Enforcement Squad" In the near future, xenophobia has given rise to government backed militia responsible for enforcing Canadian cultural conformity. This is one of the few character designs from my post-apocalyptic hoser universe who I bothered to give a name and some context to and I only did after I finished the drawing.

This is a post-apocalyptic warrior whose outfit is heavily inspired by Tlingit First Nation traditional war regalia. I had the idea that this was a surprise female character in a “samus is a girl” kind of situation. I feel like in hindsight I should have done more to establish the post-apocalyptic side of things, maybe given the character some cool patches or added some more elements to the costume that are obviously up-cycled. She’s got my severed head in her hand for ignorantly disrespecting her culture with my shitty drawings.
