A bit late maybe, but I just had to draw a response to this terrible massacre in Paris. Killing people over their opinions equals killing their -and thus our- freedom of speech. But freedom can never be killed with guns. The irony... the attempt to silence their voices, has caused them to grow louder than ever before! United we stand, divided we fall. Raise your pens, raise your pencils, stand together. I am Charlie. We are all Charlie.

At my birthday I'm going to come out to ALL of my family members (or at least those who come, lol), and I decided it would be fun to make it some sort of a "re-birth party". This is the 'birthcard' I drew for myself. Of course there will be more clarification and text on the back :)
Oh and, yes, that is a comic version if myself. In case you are wondering!

Stumbled across this old(ish) drawing of me last week. It was one I was very proud of and felt like a great accomplishment, since it was the first drawing I had made with a backrgound.
However, now I felt like I could draw it better, so I decided to re-do it. The result is visible above :) It's not perfect (yet), but I think it looks quite good!

DYSPHORIA
Ok, if you're not trans you probably don't even know what "dysphoria" is, so I'll clarify a bit. It is the terrible, dreadful feeling you get because of your body doesn't match your brain, your identity. Your brain basically just flips out because it sees the wrong sex characteristics it is "programmed" for. It can manifest itself in many ways, also detachment, which was my way of dealing with it years ago. The moment I drew this, I felt extremely dysphoric. Even more so than normally, and I felt like being torn down on the inside, while having to smile-n-wave on the outside. I made this drawing to get that feeling 'out' and process it a bit better. Even though over time I have gotten VERY good at drawing up walls and a mask to stop people from noticing, this is how I feel on the inside. I hide my own pain from others and even myself with jokes and laughter, but sometimes... I just can't hold it anymore, and paper always listens without prejudice.
Four armour concepts for a race called "winter elves" (which are basically super badass dwarflike elves. A friend came up with the race idea, not me)

Okay guys, I changed my art name from Bella Kohler to Erik Ezrin, because I noticed the female first name was causing some confusion. I feel a bit sad about it, cause the name had a strong personal significance, but as time passes I see it more and more as a female name and was getting pretty bothered by it.

Made another recent drawing of my char Bella Kohler.
Just to be clear HE is a guy NOT a girl, regardless of his name and the skirt (both have their own explanation)
He is quite a bit similar to me, in the sense that people tend to just 'assume' he is a girl, while he is not. And when I was a kid he was more than just an OC/character, in fact, he was a persona, a second 'me'. So I have a strong connection with him and the name he bears (even though it technically is a female name. Check my fb page if you would like to know the story behind it!)
And yes. That IS a purple cat. Your eyes did not deceive you! ;)

Heya guys! Part one of the home assignment for art academy. This is NOT the finished project (but the largest 'visual' part), I'll post pics once it's finished too! :)
I've been working on the home assignment for art school selection, and this is one of my latest most fleshed-out CONCEPT drawings. I'm not yet entirely happy tho', it seems too... shallow.... and meaningless :/ too small... but the assignment really isn't my cup of tea, so I'm having a bit of a difficulty with it.
You have to write a story, oneliner, etc. to a friend with a wish/advice for them and place it in a location where it reaches them optimally (that part confuzzles the feck out of me as well. I never think beyond 'location' as "oh, an empty wall. Let's put this artwork here!"), and all I can come up with is shallow, cliche SHIT! GAAHHH!! D:<

It's about a little, cowardly, fat dragon named Sammy (sorry for making him fat, lol :>) who loses his favourite plush toy and then goes on a big adventure to get it back, facing great dangers without fear (all he thinks of is "I WANT MY TOY BACK!!!" lol), and eventually finding his toy and having overcome his fears.
