Us waiting for Incredibles 2:
Pixar:
I do, because I have too
An arranged marriage. Erik hadnât been excited for this day to come. As royalty it is obligated to marry someone by the late 20âs. Sadly Erik hadnât found someone, nor did he want someone. With this in mind if a person is not found by the age of 29 than the prince in line must be forced to marry someone selected by the government.
Whoever this person was that the people selected wouldnât be so pleased. He is an absolute eye sore and not easy to live with, nor does he open up easily, especially not to women.
Erik began to pace across the stage where the ceremony would take place. In moments she would- and there it was, the bells, the organ. It had begun. He no longer would be free with independence.
@brave-heart-juliet
Juliet froze. âYour carriage⊠it has no horses,â she said and walked down more.
âYes!â He smiled âits one of the newest inventions to come out! Hand made from the new world. The true carriage is being refurbished. Damn horses got spooked and you know the rest of what happenedâ he opened the door and gestured to her âcome, sit, it roars like a lion wouldâ
Juliet got in and looked around in curiosity. She found the dress heâd gotten ready for her. She set her tiara on the seat. She got changed without revealing anything, a trick sheâd learned in her ballet lessons. After pulling her hair out of the neat bun it was in, she looked perfectly common. Though her hair was still in perfect golden curls. And her skin showed no sign of ever spending a day out in the sun without a parasol.
Erik kept his eyes to himself as he also slipped on a casual outfit of cheaper quality. A simple navy Blue with a cotton button shirt. With both of them dressed he dated a glance to the part st next to him. âEven casually dressed you still make a room grow silent in aweâ the compliments he gave he attempted to make friendly, but inevitably he still turns pink in the cheeks. Without further hesitation the metal horse roared to life and blew rocks behind the wheels as they turned quickly. They were finally on there way to town.
Juliet blushed softly and looked down. She glanced out the window as the automobile moved forward. She glanced ahead at the driver, then sat back again.
âWhat are you feeling? Sweet or savory? Or possibly both? I know a cute little resteraunt that makes tiny sandwiches. Phenomenal little sandwichesâ he would take every few moments to look at her before whipping his gaze back to the worn down brick road.
âI cannot have any peanuts sadly. But⊠a sandwich and some soup sounds absolutely divine right now.â
"They make this WONDERFUL mouth watering butternut squash soup with a honey and Brie grilled sandwich. Strange combination you may think, but the flavors work so well together" he pulled into a tiny lot next to a tiny building, it seems that only 15 total people could fit in this Germanic designed resteraunt. Erik took out his keys and placed a hat on his head to block the sun from his eyes.
"Shall we, madame?"
please... if youâre going to attempt to speak in âoldâ english
THOU is the subject (Thou artâŠ) THEE is the object (I look at thee) THY is for words beginning in a consonant (Thy dog) THINE is for words beginning in a vowel (Thine eyes)
this has been a psa
Also, because H was sometimes treated as a vowel when the grammar rules for thou/thee/thy/thine were formed,THINE can also be used for words beginning with H. For example, both âthy heartâ and âthine heartâ appear in Elizabethan poetry.
For consistency, however, if youâre saying âthine eyesâ, make sure you also say âmine eyesâ instead of âmy eyesâ.
Further to the PSA:
Thou/thee/thine is SINGULAR ONLY.
Verbs with âthouâ end in -st or -est: thou canst, thou hast, thou dost, thou goest. Exception: the verbs will, shall, are, and were, which add only -t: thou wilt, thou shalt, thou art, thou wert.
Only in the indicative, though â when saying how things are (âThou hast a big noseâ). Not in the subjunctive, saying how things might be (âIf thou go thereâŠâ) nor in the imperative, making instructions or requests (âGo thou thereâ).
The -eth or -th ending on verbs is EXACTLY EQUIVALENT TO THE -(e)s ENDING IN MODERN ENGLISH.
I go, thou goest, she goeth, we go, ye go, they go.
If you wouldnât say âgoesâ in modern English, donât say âgoethâ in Shakespearean English.
âGoeth and getteth me a coffeeâ NO. KILL IT WITH FIRE.
Usually with an imperative you put the pronoun immediately after the verb, at least once in the sentence (âGo thouâ / âGo yeâ).
YE is the subject (Ye areâŠ). YOU is the object.
Ye/you/your is both for PLURALS and for DEFERENCE, as vous in French.
Thereâs more, but thatâll do for now.
Oh wow. Reblogging for reference.

hey since I just told a friend this and they found it helpful: if youâre having hallucinations and are having trouble distinguishing whatâs real and whatâs not, use your phoneâs camera and take a picture of the thing you might be hallucinating. cameras donât hallucinate.
hey maybe reblog this for other neurodivergent people to see please?
sometimes ur own hallucinations may show up on camera or on a recording if its an auditory hallucination, so if ur unsure and have someone you trust, you can try sending the picture or recording to them and asking them what they see/hear too!!
Iâve only ever had like three or four instances of visual hallucinations but a friend who has them regularly
says that the way she checks is that she takes off her glasses, and if the image is still in perfect focus, thatâs a hallucination
that might not work for everyone, but it might be helpful for some!
When I thought I was hearing a roommate/family member in the next room and thought they were talking to me, and couldnât tell if they were actually in there or not and if they were actually saying those things (and usually the things they were saying were pretty bizarre and mean), if I put on headphones and blasted music and could still hear them clearly then I could tell it wasnât them and I was hallucinating (so bascially similar to the eyeglasses post above, but on the auditory side of things). Headphones and music are great for fact-checking or for helping to block the quieter things out.
these r all gr8

Ask my character "How do you feel about ______?" Can be an idea, person(s), place, or thing, and they'll have to answer honestly.

HOW LONG IT TAKES TO READ THE WORLDâS MOST POPULAR BOOKS: http://shortlist.com/entertainment/books/how-long-it-takes-to-read-the-worlds-most-popular-books
Wow I must have spent more time reading than paying attention to class
I would probably have to at least double this because Iâm very slow at reading but I recently finished a whole book and Iâm very pleased with myself! Iâm regaining the ability to read books! I used to be so unwell that I couldnât focus long enough to read more than one sentence, let alone a chapter or a book! When I was at college I literally had to go one sentence at a time and bullet point each individual sentence in a project brief to understand it.
Anyway Iâm really glad Iâm getting my reading skills back because I used to love books and I miss being able to get lost in a good story.
Reblogging to show people that many fanfiction stories are as long as actual books.Â
