for other people who are being affected hard by the new, terrible color palette staff thought would be “more accessible”, i highly recommend downloading a chrome extension called dark reader. it can either have a “dark” mode which will invert and change colors, or a “light” mode where you can leave the colors the same but put down the contrast.

How to change from /search/ to /tagged/ pages

Hello everyone!!

As you know, posts with links won’t appear anymore in the /search/ page. It’s pretty annoying for the artists who include their page links under their work, since it prevents the fandom to see them.

Personally, I have this since few months already, my authorized posts disappeared from the search AND I couldn’t see some artists posts either.

To fix the problem and not miss any contents from the fandom, I used Xkit to change my /search/ page into /tagged/ page, because all posts appear correctly on this one ; I thought maybe some of you would like to know how, so let me show you how it works :

(First of all, install Xkit)

You need to take the option called “Tag Tracking+” and check the option below.

Also this option permits you to save your favorite tag, so you could access to it directly from your search bar. It appears like this :

Now, if you click on the tag, it will redirect you automatically to the /tagged/ page instead of the search page.  For example, the /search/ page looked originally like this 

and now with the /tagged/ page redirection, it’ll be like this

Basically, it’ll work the same than on your dash and in chronological order.

Personally, I think it’s very convenient and I hope it’ll help some of you with that new tumblr change.
