22.4.18 // ivy league dreams
an alumni from my school told me something that really stuck with me so i thought i would share it with any of my followers who are also students. she said “try to get good grades, but make it the least impressive thing about you.” soft skills are just as important! practice empathy, leadership, and communication! have hobbies and find new things that you’re good at!! know what your values are and how you act on them!! these things are so important 🌱
Some Othello revision I did with a friend today. I got the paperlike screen protector and I’m loving writing on my iPad with it! It’s really made the writing experience better.
6. 3. 22. || Beginning 30 Days of Productivity!
Finally getting some work done in! Also treated myself to a crossaint that has avocado, tomato, alfafa, mustard and melted mozarella! I finally got paid, my bank account is no longer negative! Whew.
It’s been super hot these past few days; I’m not a fan of heat honestly. I much prefer cold, wet and windy weather. It gives me loads of dopamine!
N• 1. If you are in Uni or school, what are you studying? If you’re working, what do you do?
I’m in Uni atm studying under a bachelors for Interdisciplinary Studies with a communications and business concentration. BUT, I’m working towards a portfolio to let me have a bachelors in business admin.
Work-wise, I currently work at a cafe and make delicious coffee!!
