beautiful caffeine on an empty stomach I'm going to live forever

december 26th, 2025 || 58 days until the bar exam
Casual studying for a not-so-casual exam
being 22 is CRAZY bc my coworkers are fully formed human beings who talk about planning vacations to greece and workout daily and discuss things like home decor and the highlight of my morning was having enough time to make a tapioca tuna melt (that i ate standing up while sipping on an energy drink) before rushing to work
For non-English speakers: Reblog and in the tags name a common mistake that non-speakers of your language make when they use it (e.g. using a plural form for a singular item, or a wrong gender)
End of the Year Book Tag!
thank you for the tag @melaschnie (i'm so sorry this took me ages!!)
are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
i'm gonna say no! i had a book on hold at the library that was originally due this year but is now suspended until i have the time to pick it up (ily libby)
do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
nope, not really into seasonal books (plus, it's currently spring for me so...)
is there a new release you're still waiting for?
it's technically out already but i cannot WAIT to get my hands on a copy of "heap earth upon it" by chloe michelle howarth!!
hey quick PSA but âreading before bed to wind downâ only works if youâre normal about books btw. if you arenât you are going to end up awake at 2:52am after finishing the whole book just trust me on this one
september 14th, 2025 || what an unusually calm bar exam prep morning looks like
one thing about lawyers is they will corner you in the office kitchen and say, in the sweetest voice: âheyy! so how are your deadlines for this week?â
and thatâs how you know youâre fucked

another weekend morning struggling with grad school essays in my favorite coffeeshop!
work this week was a mix of successes and failures, as usual â on monday i'll start trying to express my protein of interest, but i'm not expecting it to work on the first try.
the amount of work experience i have from having interned full time since my pretty much 1L is immeasurable and i wouldnât trade it for a thing but man is it exhausting. whenever i have a break from uni i am reminded of how much i love my job and my career and the thing i donât like is having 12h days for months on end with virtually no breaks
this just in: local woman finds out simply staring at her computer while sipping coffee doesnât actually count as working
