being 22 is CRAZY bc my coworkers are fully formed human beings who talk about planning vacations to greece and workout daily and discuss things like home decor and the highlight of my morning was having enough time to make a tapioca tuna melt (that i ate standing up while sipping on an energy drink) before rushing to work

i'm gonna say no! i had a book on hold at the library that was originally due this year but is now suspended until i have the time to pick it up (ily libby)

nope, not really into seasonal books (plus, it's currently spring for me so...)

what trends have you noticed in your reading this year?
i read a lot when i'm stressed and Boy Have I Been Stressed. serious answer though: poetry!! and memoirs! and most of my reads have been physical which hadn't happened in a hot minute
how do you feel about your reading goals? anything you want to change, adjust, or abandon?
i originally lowballed my reading goal for this year because i had antecipated reading less between my new job and bar exam prep but then i went and totally demolished that so idk! feel pretty good about it while still having no idea how i did that
have you already started making reading plans for next year?
yes and no? i started a very casual book club with one of my best friends a couple months ago and it seems we'll be taking that into next year so, there is book club! as far as personal plans go, not really. i'm not really a planner, i normally read whatever i feel like reading (with the occasional reread with a friend if the opportunity arises of course)

hey quick PSA but “reading before bed to wind down” only works if you’re normal about books btw. if you aren’t you are going to end up awake at 2:52am after finishing the whole book just trust me on this one
another weekend morning struggling with grad school essays in my favorite coffeeshop!
work this week was a mix of successes and failures, as usual – on monday i'll start trying to express my protein of interest, but i'm not expecting it to work on the first try.
the amount of work experience i have from having interned full time since my pretty much 1L is immeasurable and i wouldn’t trade it for a thing but man is it exhausting. whenever i have a break from uni i am reminded of how much i love my job and my career and the thing i don’t like is having 12h days for months on end with virtually no breaks
