tfw when idiots on tumblr who know jack shit about thermo assume the dude is ‘correcting misinformation’ when actually he’s dead ass wrong. ‘Spontaneous’ is a scientific term - it means a reaction with a negative Gibb’s free energy, i.e. a reaction that will occur without an external energy input, i.e. water boiling because of low atmospheric pressure. Spontaneous is absolutely the correct term for what she’s observing, and that is ‘simple thermo’, and this is ‘correcting misinformation’.

So, this is a big deal.

By now I believe we all know Joan of Arc, the character Jaune was based on, had visions. Many people believe Jaune will have these visions as well, and they will be related to Pyrrha. It becomes far more likely when we take his new outfit into consideration. The guy is literally carrying Pyrrha’s physical remains with him. And that could be where it ends, if it weren’t for the weapons.

Jaune has merged his sword and shield with steel that belonged to Pyrrha. The question is, what it just her tiara, or her weapons as well? Because, well, weapons in Remnant aren’t just weapons. They’re conduits for one’s aura. And what is aura? A manifestation of one’s soul.

Jaune may have, unwittingly, unknowingly, merged pieces of Pyrrha’s soul with his own.

Now, I can see two paths for this. The happy path is this new weapon being used to kill Cinder in the ultimate revenge move.

The less happy one is the sword and shield becoming a sort of… beacon of Pyrrha’s soul, that only Jaune can see. And it escalating so badly that Jaune will be forced to choose between keeping his sanity, and keeping the only physical reminders he has of Pyrrha.

Wouldn’t that be something.
