I have not been here since 2015. Life has taken me on a strange path and.. I'm not mad about some of it.. but I've failed to keep this up to date. I am just amazed that having just revisted this site, I see that people are still liking or responding to things that I've posted years ago. Because you will always see me so far from how I've been made to feel. I can never feel beautiful because I could never be like you in the land catered to such powerful ideals. Kerby Jean-Raymond makes powerful statement on police brutality with NYFW show

A month ago, designer Kerby Jean-Raymond was standing outside a friend’s apartment talking on the phone. He had recently injured two of his fingers, which were bandaged with black tape. The police, he says, mistook the injured fingers for a gun. When he turned around, he had two guns pointed at him. That’s when he knew that he had to do this show.
