This is a fanart I created for the Spideypool fanfic You're Too Sweet by GollumIsMySpiritAnimal（@smeagolmylove ）

The idea started back in January. I read chapter 16 and really loved the scene. With the author’s kind permission, I finally turned it into this piece.
A huge thank you to @smeagolmylove for all the constant support! This is my first time creating fanart for a fic I really love, and the gratitude and joy I feel are hard to express.😭
The title comes from a poem by Jorge Luis Borges, which felt very fitting for this chapter:
“I can give you my loneliness, my darkness, the hunger of my heart; I am trying to bribe you with uncertainty, with danger, with defeat.”
I tried to capture Wade in a moment of emotional pain — hurting himself while lost in memories of the good times with Spidey. I may have put a bit too much of my own kink into it lol, hope you like it 💕
