I GOT CHILLS OMFG
Mr. Bennet: Sure, I haven't taken care of my daughters' financial security, but have I at least taken care of their education? No. But have I taken care of their emotional needs? Also no. But have I been a good protector and supervisor? I'm afraid not. However, have I been a good example for my children of being a kind and respectful spouse, parent, and all around human being? No again. But through it all, have I nailed being funny? Yes. And isn't that the most important role of a father after all?

Gideon The Ninth- mock dustcover
I draw book covers for freelance all the time. I feel pretty lucky to do so, and wanted to create one with all my free will and spare time, to make just for me. Well, and for you lot as well. But mainly, for me.
I will be drawing book 2 and book 3 as well. And potentalially have prints of them later this year.
(For cover commissions email me at [email protected])
She'd laughed, and if he could have bottled the sound and gotten drunk on it every night, he would have. It terrified him.

tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow x macbeth
tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow, creeps in this petty pace from day to day, to the last syllable of recorded time; and all our yesterdays have lighted fools the way to dusty death. out, out, brief candle! life's but a walking shadow, a poor player, that struts and frets his hour upon the stage, and then is heard no more. It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing.
Thinking about the lasting cultural and psychological impact of the Darkening of Valinor and especially how it mirrors the trauma of the early elves
Elves from Cuiviénen who feared the dark for the monsters in it who came to Valinor and had children who never new that fear, who saw wonder and curiosity in the darker reaches of Valinor where the tree light barely reaches.
And then for some unknown and unknowable period of time, those families, those communities, held each other in that awful darkness. And on the other side of it, a whole new generation of elves grow to fear the dark and what might lurk in it.
The entire sense of the passing and conception of time was irrevocably changed! Calendars had to be completely reconstructed. Sleep must have been altered in awful ways. There were likely profound changes to agriculture and travel that, while mitigated by the powers of Valinor, still would have had a significant impact on daily life.
Once more, the idea of ever being safe seems incomprehensible and of course this sense will only become more pronounced after the horrors of the kinslaying when all now know it is not only the Powers who can and will spill blood but each other.
This has been said before, by me and others, but this was an apocalyptic event.
