A concept: Merlin and Morgana are still on opposing sides of the war but Morgana knows about Merlin’s destiny and they have a bet about who will free magic first. Merlin has his “if I just protect Arthur and do nothing else it will all work out in the end” method and Morgana has her “kill everyone who gets in my way” tactic, and they meet up once a month to debrief their progress over drinks. They also share custody over Aithusa.
