Prompt or idea for poly week:
Marinette finds out that Max, Kim, and Ondine are in a polyamorous relationship (mainly because I love those three together)
Marinette sees Kim cover Maxâs face in kisses to congratulate him on one of his accomplishments and assumes heâs cheating, she runs to Ondine and has to break the news to her. But Marinette gets a surprise when she finds out that Ondine already knew, Marinette assumes that what Ondine means was that she knew she was being cheated on but Ondine clears things up and tells Marinette that the three of them are together (Which Marinette doesnât really approve of).
[Relationship chart thing - Kim is together with Max and Ondine while Ondine and Max are in a sort of queer platonic relationship. Max feels strongly for Ondine and Ondine feels strongly for Max but not in the ânormalâ relationship way and decided a QPR was best for the best of them, Max shows little to no romantic attraction mainly because he doesnât care but does feel strongly for Kim, has felt strongly for him that the little part of his aromantism was starting to show (bro lowkey just like me fr)]

I genuinely love Kim/Ondine/Max as throuple. Like, Kim has more than enough love for both of them, and Ondine and Max also care for one another, even if their relationship isn't romantic, but rather platonic.
Marinette, in a different situation, would have been right to tell Ondine. But it's clear she has no idea what the relationship between the three really is.
She immediately jumped to "Kim is cheating." Kim and Ondine could have broken up prior to her seeing Kim kiss Max. Kim and Ondine could have been fake dating because Kim was scared to come out as gay. They could have been dating because someone else wanted to date Ondine but they kept harrasing her about it, so she told them she had a boyfriend and Kim agreed to be her fake bf. There are so many things she could of thought of. But no, immediately it's "Kim's cheating on you."
And when she learns Ondine not only knew but was okay with it, because Kim wasn't cheating? That they're all together? It's just wrong in her mind.
I can see her spreading rumors, hoping it would get them to split up and have a single normal couple.
She also probably tells everyone else, hoping they see the issue and is surprised when:
