Since the Marinette Salt Prompt blog isn't gonna be run anymore, I decided to make this sideblog where I share the Marinette Salt prompts I submitted and any future ones!!
The name of this blog actually comes from one of the prompts I submitted: Selfish Wishing, iirc. It's the name of the blog Adrien and Felix run together.
My inbox is open!! Feel free to send in prompts, fics, or ask about prompts I've written. :3

Welcome to Miraculog's mini Disabili
In Honor of Disability Pride (hopefully this is on theme and hopefully it isn't too long)
Alya loves Ladybug, but there are problems even Ladybug can’t fix. Sure you can defeat the akuma, but there are some things you can’t battle away. And with Heroes Day coming up, she’d like to do something on that everyday level and fight those invisible battles. She can’t be Rena Rouge every day, but she can be Alya Cesaire, best person she can be, every day. She gets inspired by an article read about wheelchair access in the EU not always being great, and realized looking at the school that maybe it’s also not even great at the school.
She goes around trying to get signatures for her petition to the Mayor to get more accessibility to the school, when she feels a hand on her shoulder. It’s Rose, who tells her she wants to join her in this and that the best way to go about this would be to interview students about how the lack of accessibility has failed them and she can help set up interviews while Alya conducts and complies them.
Alya is pleasantly surprised. She didn’t know Rose was so passionate about this. Rose didn’t know Alya cared about advocacy this much either. They suppose they don’t really talk much one on one, they mostly just have a mutual friend in Marinette.
They try to bring Marinette into this project, but she’s always running up late or flaking out. When she is there, the conversation always manages to turn to Adrien. And neither of them wants to be the one to say it, but they’re getting tired of it. Working on this makes them feel good about themselves. Like really good, like they’re making a difference in the world, like they’re growing up. When Marinette’s around, everything always gets derailed into soothing her as she hides around corners and starts steering them towards students near Adrien. Eventually Alya and Rose silently mutually agree, there is Alya and Rose hangout time for this, and there is Marinette hangout time for Adrien freakouts, and these don’t overlap.
Speaking of Adrien… he catches wind of this through Nino and he’s immediately asking to help out. His mother was severely disabled throughout his childhood and he cares a lot about this subject.
One attempt to do this as a group with Marinette is enough. Alya and Rose would like to get this done, not put it on hold for Marinette’s benefit. And since Adrien has been actually committed to the cause, they just don’t invite Marinette to this. Alya’s tried to tell Marinette that once you get to know Adrien he’s actually kind of Chat Noir-ish and super easy to talk to, but Marinette isn’t having it.
Once that petition goes through, Alya and Rose feel like they’re on top of the world. Alya announces this to the class on Heroes Day, and she turns to the side, expecting some congratulations from Marinette, and… nothing. She’s freaking out about her macaron box, which is apparently what she does every year? Then why didn’t she plan..? Never mind. It’s time to be a good friend and stick up for her. Except as the day goes on, there’s not a word from Marinette about Alya’s project. Didn’t she care? Why can’t Marinette just say “That’s really cool” about everyone else’s Hero’s Day deed without turning it back around to “That makes me look so lame!”
But whatever. She basked in the accomplishment with Rose, Adrien and Nino. Then pulled together a potluck picnic so that Marinette wouldn’t be too humiliated by her obvious lie about some grand cake tasting. Alya and Rose have some heated words with Adrien about declaring Marinette “the everyday Ladybug” when the project Alya spearheaded was more meaningful and he apologizes. He was just trying to cheer Marinette up, he didn’t think of it as minimizing Alya and Rose. And they move on, because they are friends.
Then Lila comes back. Then she gets to sit at the front to get her tinnitus accommodated without being made to provide a doctor’s note. Alya excitedly tells Marinette that was one of the things she campaigned for. Then stares in appalled confusion as Marinette starts melting down about how Alya betrayed her and she’s working as Lila’s minion and it’s all her fault she’s going to take Adrien away. What the hell is she talking about? None of that project had anything to do with Lila. She was talking about this for weeks beforehand? Wasn’t Marinette listening? Sure she and Rose mostly did this by themselves, and with Adrien at the tail end, but…
And there Marinette goes freaking out about Rose betraying her too. And about them conspiring to keep Adrien away from her behind her back. What is Marinette talking about? They don’t need Marinette’s permission to hang out with Adrien. None of this was a secret, she just never seemed all that interested in it. Does she seriously not register anything Alya says that doesn’t have to do with Adrien?
Then the drama keeps blowing up. Juleka of course sides with Rose and Alya. She was with them sometimes and she never thought anything of Marinette not being there. She does things without Rose sometimes, Rose does things without her, Marinette does things without them, why can’t they do things without her? Juleka thinks the only real mistake Alya and Rose made was not just confronting Marinette about derailing their project, but Marinette shouldn't have been doing that to begin with. Juleka and Rose just got together and they don’t make everything about them… and you didn’t know that either, did you Marinette.
She keeps ignoring Alya telling her that none of this is about Lila, this is about me and you and how you’re never interested in my life and you just want me on call all the time for your stupid crush. What is Marinette on about “All the things she’s done for her”? Name literally one thing.
The class is appalled and confused. They knew she wasn’t interested in Alya and Rose’s campaign, but they had no idea she was so ableist. She keeps yelling about how Lila must have conspired to have the doctor’s note requirement changed, and even if she didn’t the change was stupid because now people like Lila can take advantage. Why does this keep coming back to Lila? She won't listen when they say that people who tell little fibs like that don’t really matter in the grand scheme of things, and really big accommodations do require more verification, and the way she went about things was awful. They would have let it slide, but Marinette keeps bringing it up.
She’s stomping to the back of the class alone in tears shouting about how she’ll just go there if they’ll just be Lila’s little minions, she can’t believe Lila turned the class against her. They keep telling her, Lila didn’t make us hate you, you did when you acted like a selfish little bully. She never talked to any of the class about her, can you just stop pulling us into your grudge? She went on another diplomatic trip and she doesn’t even go here anymore. What did she ever do to you? Oh the bathroom threat? You mean she warned you to stop acting like this because we weren’t going to put up with it anymore? And they aren’t putting up with it anymore.
The class tells a bewildered and appalled Adrien that Marinette’s probably going postal because she has a crush on him and she’s upset that Lila got to sit next to him and he did that whole project with Alya and Rose and they didn’t use it to set him up with her. He accepts their apologies for trying to push them together, they didn’t know she was quite that immature and unhinged.
Weeks later Chat Noir is staring in horror as Multimouse reveals herself to be Marinette. But wait! He remembers in relief. She can’t be a hero anymore because she revealed herself!
Actually, yes she can, says Ladybug. She’s all the team we need, she’s so much better than the rest of those backstabbing traitors put together.
Wait is that why the team hasn’t been showing up? Are they from Marinette’s class? Did Marinette tell you about that? Because Marinette was the problem there my Lady- and now she’s yelling at him about how he’s unworthy of his own Miraculous.
Technically Disability Pride Week on the Miraculog ends tomorrow, but people can continue to submit prompts for it. Like I said, prompts like this one are the only ones I'm accepting. That said:
I love love love this!! I like that this project brings Alya and Rose closer as friends. It's something they're both passionate about. I like to think Rose eventually confides in Alya about her chronic illness, and how her campaign would really help her as well. It would ease the burden Juleka feels about keeping Rose's secret if another friend knew and could help as well.
And I like the Adrien is brought into the project because he's also passionate about it. His mom was disabled and he likely saw how much it affected her growing up. If he can help make things easier for people like her, he will.
I can definitely understand why Alya and Rose got mad at Adrien for the "everyday Ladybug" comment, but they decided to throw a potluck together so Marinette didn't feel bad about lying about the cake tasting. Keyword: they. As in, more than one person agreed to it, and given the context, I'm pretty sure Alya and Rose agreed to it. I'm sorry girls, but you kinda brought this onto yourselves by giving her more attention.
If she was gonna constantly tell everyone what they did for Heroes Day was cool just to talk shit about what she planned, why are you giving her attention??
And then we have Lila. I really like that Lila is the first person Alya's project helps (or at least that she knows of). It makes the decision to change seats feel more important. Especially since it does feel like Lila is actually disabled. She might not be, but it feels like she is.
Marinette doesn't do herself any favors in her ablism in regards to her crush. She was told Adrien helped out in the campaign at the end. You'd think she'd "care" once she learned he was involved. But no.
And seeing her ablism continue as LB?? I feel like Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth has a great opportunity to have people turn away from her by exposing that little detail. Show everyone she's ablist and how her own teammate has to stay silent or risk his losing his own miraculous like his fellow heroes did. Don't they wonder why Rena Rouge or Carapace or another hero hasn't returned? Who's the real villain now??
Hello there 👋, I’ve been lurking and reading as I go so this will be my first prompt (or idea I suppose) and since I’m not a writer so if anyone wants to take the idea then I’m totally fine with that (ദ്ദി ๑>•̀๑) I hope the salt was enough cuz I’m not sure if it is, but I do want there to be LOTS of salt against Marinette.
So my idea is Marvel x MLB, here we have Peter Parker (tom holland) (who I will headcanons as FTM) coming to Paris for sight seeing with Mr. Stark. What are they doing there? Well Tony wanted to bond with the kid, have fun, do some father son bonding, and yes absolutely go and check out what the fuck is going on in Paris with amateur heroes (*cough* the red bug *cough*) and the self proclaimed hawk moth.
Here Adrian meets Peter in the park as Peter walks around, taking in the sights, absentmindedly greeting people he passes by because he’s polite like that. What catches Adrian’s slight attention is the queen’s accent of his when he waves a hand to him and a ‘hello’ in his direction, a kind smile on his face. Then even more so that he was greeted like any other person, no recognition as to who he is in Peter’s eyes.
So Adrian goes up to him and asks if he’s new, Peter (having learned French due to petty reasons such as wanting to insult any French villains) responds back that he’s only there for a while. Adrian offers a tour and they go along and make friends with one another.
Not sure how else to continue this but Peter does meet his friends from class, Peter does end up attending the school, as per Mr. Stark staying he should “expand his horizons” and make friends. He ends up in Mrs bustier’s class. We can have him talk about his likes of science and perhaps engineering, mentioning his internship with Tony stark in the midst of his rambling.
At this point Marinette comes in, hears him say that, and starts questioning him. She’s now suspicious of him, he must be lying, she fakes a sweet attitude and asks him if he’s being truthful. And well Peter internally thinks that it seems a little rude of her but understands it might be because he’s new and Iron man is an avenger, “Oh, no! Yeah I get it, it’s not believable and you don’t have to believe me, but! I promise I’m telling the truth. Again, I don’t mind not having someone believe me, I am a random kid after all. So I don’t take offense to that. •ᴗ•”
His kindness only makes her all the more suspicious of him. He has to be just like Lila. Except Peter doesn’t go about talking about his internship or about possibly knowing the avengers. He just makes friends and gets along with the class. Some might not believe him others do, who cares?
We can have Chat and Spidey meet each other. They hit it off, ladybug hates Spidey and how much of a better and humble hero he is, vigilante sorry.
Adrián and Peter crush on each other, ladybug gets shit on by Spider-Man’s quote of power and responsibility, gets humiliated by being called amateur (because Peter actually thinks she’s just started and not having done this for a while maybe).
And the dynamic for Peter and Adrian should be like, Peter being the princess (not because he’s trans but because it’s my headcanon for him in general regardless of gender) and Adrian as the night, have it be the opposite of what Marinette believes suits Adrian best. This I feel would give him a sense of control, and as well as a healthy relationship with Peter, who teaches him (unknowingly) how much he’s been missing out on being loved and given options and the chance to take charge. Aside from my own personal headcanons for Peter I truly believe Adrian deserves the chance to take charge but be taken care of as well. Also I feel Peter should be seen as a really pretty boy, and smaller than Adrian cuz I know that agreste boy is going to be real tall just look at his dad— I want Marinette to feel the competition she has. This could also be where Marinette is transphobic if it is ever revealed that Peter is trans. So, more marisalt for that.
Cue in more of buginette being her usual unlikable self, cue in the salt, there’s definitely more that should have been said and more that should have been clarified but I can’t because my brain is frying up the more I type and I fear I cannot think anymore but I hope I got the gist of it.
Im nowhere near good at putting my thoughts into paper (or text) so if my one has ideas or a more concrete vision for this, that would be awesome👍👍
Based on the trope where Marinette's parents turn against her and send her to Gotham
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
During the ladybug episode where Marinette is expelled, Tom and Sabine are appalled by the lack of evidence and investigation. They know Damocles isn't the greatest principle, but to blatantly disregard protocol and accept flimsy evidence that just thinking about it for more than a second, made no sense, is insane.
When they're called into the office with Lila, she explained that she had a "lying disease" that she couldn't control. Tom and Sabine were shocked at not only her terrible excuse for blatantly framing their daughter, but that Damocles accepted the excuse. They didn't know if he really believed her or if he was just accepting the excuse so he could sweep the entire situation under the rug, but they weren't accepting it. They made it clear that they were going to the school board and were going to press charges. This shocked both Damocles and Lila. Damocles wanted to sweep the situation under the rug and Lila didn't expect them to go to the school board to handle the situation. With the school board involved, Lila knew her lies would come tumbling down. Unlike Damocles, they would actually investigate and wouldn't care that she was a diplomat's daughter. Her absence in school would be brought up, and her mom would definitely be involved. She could only sit there as she realized how badly she messed up.
While dealing with the situation, Tom and Sabine decided against sending Marinette back to the school. They explained everything, but it was like nothing was getting through to her. She was just too emotional at the moment to listen. They knew that Marinette didn't handle her emotions well and was often volatile, they could admit that it was partly their fault for coddling her. Still, the last thing they wanted was for her to be taken advantage of by hawkmoth, so, they decided to send her to their friend in Gotham. They called Bruce, explaining the situation and asked if they could send her to him for a while, which he had no problem with. He offered his help and if they wanted some of his lawyers for their case, but they declined, already feeling like he was doing more than enough for them.
Marinette was pacing in her room, frantic at what she thought was her parents believing Lila and sending her away as punishment. Tikki tried calming her down and explaining that it wasn't a punishment, and more importantly, that she had to find a temporary holder. With her temporarily going to Gotham, she needed to find another holder to take over. She briefly thought about Marinette taking the horse miraculous with her so she could continue to be ladybug but seeing her freaking out over what she perceived as a punishment and her life falling apart, despite it not, she decided against it. Maybe this is what she needed. A break from being a hero and from the school that wrongfully expelled her. So, when night fell, she quietly slipped the earrings off her and flew away while wishing for her to have a good time while she's in Gotham. Once outside, tikki knew exactly who to go to, Alya Cesaire.
As soon as Bruce had gotten the call from Tom and Sabine asking for him to house their daughter, he wasted no time in informing the others of the arrangement. Alfred immediately started making arrangements for her and he informed the others about her situation. While only Duke and Damian lived in the manor, he still made sure the others knew since they often visited.
As soon as she arrived, she looked downright miserable. Damian felt sympathy for her. Sometimes he would get into altercations with other rich kids, but he was a Wayne, so, few were stupid enough to push their luck. The few who were, didn't really get anywhere. He imagines he would have been in the same place had he not had the Wayne name or his father.
Once Alfred led her to her room, they all decided to give her some space. She was clearly shaken from what happened and they wanted to give her time to adjust. After a couple of days, Marinette starts opening up about the situation and her history with Lila. Tom and Sabine never told Bruce what started the back and forth between the girls because they themselves also didn't know. All they know is that, months ago, Marinette had come home slightly annoyed about the new girl lying. When they asked, she had brushed them off saying that the situation was handled. Clearly, with her being falsely expelled, the situation was not handled.
From Marinette saying that Lila was a liar and her friends not believing her, they came to the conclusion that Lila would lie about Marinette to her friends, probably about Marinette bullying her, to ruin her friendships and reputation. However, after a couple more days and Marinette opening up more and going into detail, the version of events they had before changed. She went into detail about what Lila was lying about, and it basically amounted to nothing. No one said anything but they all thought the same thing. It was stupid to get upset over someone lying about their supposed lavish lifestyle and connections to celebrities. They've met people who lie about things like that and sure, it was a bit pathetic and annoying, but nothing to get upset over.
Her lying about her ailments would've been a more of a problem for her in the future than Marinette. She lied about her hearing so she could sit next to a boy she clearly liked and her wrist being hurt so Marinette's friends would get her lunch for her. Which isn't great but once it comes out that she lied, she would have to take extra steps in the future to get accommodations if she actually needed them. Honestly, it sounded like this whole thing could've been solved with Marinette calmly talking to her friends privately instead of yelling and insisting that Lila was lying without offering any explanation.
The more Marinette went on about the situation, the less sympathy they had for her. She was still a victim of course; she was framed and falsely expelled. But this entire situation could have been avoided if she just ignored the girl and privately told her friends about her lying. That's not even going over the fact that she just assumed that Lila was lying about her disability because she lied about her supposed connections. Yes, it would be a little difficult to trust her word but to completely write it off wasn't ok. Obviously, they know now that she was lying but Marinette didn't know that at the time. In general, it sounded like she picked a fight and then got surprised when Lila retaliated.
At school, Damian watched as his classmates start to lose interest as they also realize that the situation could have been avoided if she ignored Lila and properly communicated with her friends. Skylar, one of his friends, asked him if Marinette was really sent here as punishment. She asked this, not only out of curiosity, but because it's the main reason anyone is still interested in Marinette's story. They want to see where it goes, they want to see what happens next after her parents seemingly believed that their daughter was some sort of delinquent. Everyone wanted to know and since it was known that she lived Damain because her parents were friends with Bruce, he was the perfect person to ask.
Damian corrects her that, no, she wasn't sent here as punishment but as a sort of break. Tom and Sabine were pressing charges, and the school board was getting involved. The principle would likely be fired, and Lila would most likely be expelled with the entire incident going on her record. Skylar was then confused as to why Marinette would lie about why she was sent here before Damian shares that Marinette truly believes that her parents sent her here as punishment. He, along with the rest of his family, have observed her from the moment she arrived. Marinette is a very emotionally volatile person who jumps to conclusions a lot. Tom and Sabine were clear that they had told her why they were sending her away, but they were sure that she wasn't listening. When they asked about her friends, Marinette stated that they all texted her but that she didn't even want to look at them, sure that they would be scolding her for how she hurt Lila. When they asked Tom and Sabine however, they explained that they were worried about her and were trying to reach out to see if she was ok.
Once Damian cleared up the misunderstanding, it didn't take long for the news to spread. Once it was understood that not only was Marinette not sent here for punishment, but that ultimately everything would be resolved and she would be fine, people immediately lost all interest in her. Now, whenever she would talk about what happened, everyone would just roll their eyes and ignore her.
Sometime after, Tom and Sabine call updating Bruce on everything and having some bad news. While Marinette was cleared of everything Lila had accused her of, she was in trouble for something else. As soon as the school board got involved, they wasted no time in investigating what happened between Lila and Marinette. Immediately looking through security footage, they saw Lila walk down the steps, lay down and start screaming. Looking through records revealed that she had missed months of school and only showed up for two and a half days in total. More than enough to start emailing and calling her mother to inform her of her absences, which a meeting with Ms. Rossi revealed that Damocles at least did attempt to. The problem was that Ms. Rossi ignored every call because Lila had told her to, and every email was deleted by Lila before she could see it.
A few people did side eye her a bit after learning she essentially never questioned why her daughter didn't go to school for months a time or at least do online work. However, the meeting wasn't about her parenting, so they moved on and explained to her that Lila would be expelled with the incident going on her record. After dealing with Lila, the board did an overhaul of the entire school going over incidents that were reported and ones that were quietly swept under the rug. During which, plenty of students who had gotten away with their actions because of who their parents were, found themselves suspended or expelled, with everything going on their records. Chloe and Sabrina had found themselves expelled with all of their bullying going on their records. Socqueline, a girl who had also been wrongfully expelled in the past, had her record scrubbed of the expulsion and an apology sent to her from the board.
While looking through security footage of the past year to gather evidence of kid's wrongdoings, they came across Marinette acting very strange around and towards one of her classmates, Adrien Agreste. It was clear she was infatuated with him from the way she stared so intently and often followed him around school. It was a bit weird, sure, but she's in that awkward teenage phase of not knowing how to handle a crush. Overall, they brushed it off and didn't think much of it. Then they saw the moments she'd glare at any girl who so much as talked to Adrien and seemed to do anything in an effort to get close to him. Seeing that made them look at her as a bit more than an awkward teenager with a crush.
Still, it wasn't their place to intervene, they weren't her parents. They could tell them of their daughter's concerning behavior but ultimately, it's up to them how they parent their child and set boundaries. That was what they thought until, they saw her reach into his bag. By the look of Adrien's face, it looked like he had found something he had "lost". Going through the footage from the day before, they found Marinette sneaking into the boy's locker room and a few minutes later running out and off the school property with something in her hand.
Calling Adrien and Nathalie, they ask Adrien if he ever lost something during fencing practice, just to be sure. He confirmed that earlier in the year he had briefly lost his phone. They then inform Adrien and Nathalie that Marinette had stolen his phone and later returned it, while showing the footage. They inform them that Marinette would be suspended for three weeks with it going on her record and moved to a different class.
Once Gabriel was informed about the incident, Adrien had to fight tooth and nail to convince his father to let him stay in public school. He reluctantly allowed it but made it clear that he would be going to a different school. When Adrien told the class of his father's decision, they were upset at his move and shocked at what Marinette did. Everyone, except Alya, who looked guilty. When asked, she sheepishly admits that she knew Marinette had stolen his phone and quickly explained that it was only to delete a voice message she had accidently left. She went on to explain that she didn't see the harm in it at them time and that it was no different from when she and the girls would plan dates for her and Adrien.
Adrien was appalled hearing this. The girls seeing his reaction paired with Marinette stealing his phone, began to feel guilty. They feel like they played a role in encouraging this behavior. Instead of pushing her to just talk to him, they helped her with these elaborate plans that never went anywhere. Adrien was shocked hearing that the girls had essentially tried to ambush him with a date. He barely knew Marinette and only ever somewhat saw her as a friend, but after finding out she stole his phone, he doesn't even see her as that anymore. Things were a little tense in the group and everyone understood that Gabriel never liked them, but allowed Adrien to hang out with them, as long as it was scheduled and approved. Now, with Marinette's stealing coming to light, no doubt he wouldn't allow them to even see him for a while, not wanting to chance it if any of them were involved or helped in the theft.
After Tom and Sabine informed Bruce of Marinette's suspension and how Gabriel would likely get a restraining order, things finally clicked into place. For the life of them, they couldn't understand why Marinette cared so much about Lila lying. Yes, she was lying to her friends, but that was nothing she couldn't fix with one conversation. Nothing to obsess over. Now hearing about her suspension, it started to make sense. Whenever Marinette talked about Lila, she would always, without fail, talk about how Lila was lying to Adrien, even emphasizing it. They realized that Marinettte didn't like that Lila was lying her way to getting closer with Adrien, that's what started everything. She simply didn't like that Lila was getting closer to her obsession.
I was asked to expand upon the second prompt from pt.2 of the Time Travel prompts so...
TLDR: Marinette and Felix both go back in time after the Miraculous Team fails to defeat Strikeback, going back specifically to the day Chloe says she's leaving (S2 iirc). Marinette does nothing to prevent Chloe from leaving and starts planning how to get rid of Lila, meanwhile Felix moves in with Adrien and Gabriel, and manages to do what he wasn't able to in the "future": he gets the peacock miraculous. The two aren't working together, nor do they wish to.
• Much like the third prompt, the second is set before LB loses the miraculous. More accurately, it's set so that her last memory is that last battle against Strikeback. However, in this case, the Miraculous Team is unable to beat them and end up losing.
• Marinette waking up back when she did is fully based on fics where a character/group of characters lose(s) a big battle and is sent back to fix things so they win this time. They remember things from the future, be it completely or partly, and make changes based off that. Is it a risk to do this or that? Do we have to do A or B? Can someone skip their redemption arc or do they have to go through it again? Can you avoid the things that hurt you before? Etc., etc., etc.
• Of course, Marinette is fully convinced she's the only one who went back. And because she's convinced of this, she believes she can change things to fall more in her favor, or do things she "should" have done earlier. As we see at the end, she's not the only person who went back. Felix also got sent back. We'll get to him later.
• As mentioned above, Marinette has decided to change things in her favor, and waking up when she did, she decided she would let Chloe leave. Ladybug wouldn't do anything for Chloe. No words of comfort. No second chance to use the bee miraculous. She's getting rid of her without needing to dirty her hands.
• Had things continued to go her way, she would definitely have tried to find a way to get rid of Lila. Find a way to get her friends to listen. Go to Alya as Ladybug, tell her Lila lied. Get the celebrities she lied about to out her. Just, something.
• Marinette actually tried to get Adrien to feel better about Chloe leaving, but neither her, or their friends, attempts worked out. As mentioned in the prompt, they all think he's being overdramatic about the situation. That he's making a big deal over nothing.
• It does slip their mind that Chloe was Adrien's friend before any of them. He's known her longer. Of course he's going to miss her and be upset with them for celebrating her departure so publicly. Moreso that they expected him to partake and be happy as well.
• Going back to Felix, he was able to go back as well. It was surprising, and he was a tad bit (very) annoyed he got sent back without a miraculous. However, as things began to sink in, he realized how great of an opportunity this was.
• It was easy to convince his mother to let him go live with Adrien and his uncle. Easy to take his amok from his dying father once he was asleep. Easy to sign up at Dupont and be placed in Adrien's class. And if he was right, the peacock miraculous should be where he last saw it. And it would be real this time.
• Chloe leaving made Felix staying close to Adrien's friends so much easier. Faces he remembered. Names he recalled. None of them really fit what he thought would be good friends for Adrien. Except maybe Nino. Nino didn't like his uncle, so he got bonus points for that.
• Because his first meeting with the akuma class goes differently, everyone's first reaction to meeting Felix goes differently. It's surprising, but if Felix being here means Adrien is finally happy again, they're willing to befriend him. Besides, he seems like a great guy.
• Marinette and Felix both have their own agendas. Marinette wants things to go her way, while Felix wants to get what he was after during Strikeback. Marinette and Felix have no desire to work together. Neither know the other had/used a miraculous. So when Felix recognizes Marinette, her first instinct is to panic.
• The only upside she sees to this is that Felix has no idea she's Ladybug. So, she can work something out. Ladybug can warn the others. She can tell Adrien his cousin is a no good identity thief who wanted to ruin his life.
• Adrien does not take Ladybug's words about his cousin kindly. He's mad. Tells her to fuck off in the politest way possible. And Ladybug has to leave, Felix's smug look burned into her eyes.
• Okay, so that planned failed. Surely Chat Noir will listen. He'd probably ask questions, but a few chin scratches, a head pat here and there, and calling him a good kitty should be enough to distract him. He'd been absent from patrol, something about a close friend leaving. She just hoped he handled it better than Adrien did when Chloe left...
• Nevermind, new problem. Chat Noir has company. Company she doesn't recognize. She tuned out his rambling, focused on the broach the other person wore. Their unnaturally purple skin and green hair. Their magenta colored eyes. Their costume entirely blue. And a look of pure satisfaction. Enter: Argos
• You bet your ass Adrien knows. Felix is surprised to learn Adrien is Chat Noir, but he sees it as a way to ensure Ladybug doesn't take his miraculous. The miraculous he worked so hard to find and fix.
• People definitely notice Maribug being antsy around Felix/Argos. And nothing she can do or say gives them the impression she's anything less than just, mean. In a way it reminds them of her first impression of Adrien. And in a way, it reminds her of how people wouldn't listen to her whenever she said Lila was lying.
I can probably add on more to this, but honestly I might just turn this into an AU, flesh things out more that way. Wouldn't be the first time I've made an AU where Felix appears early and claims the peacock miraculous, much to Maribug's chagrin.
I feel like this could be an Adrien sugar prompt where Adrien (s6) cuts his hair in the way he wants and possibly dyes it to gain control of himself since his father would manage everything including what he looked like. So after Gabriel passed, Adrien decides to finally do his hair his way
As for Marinette salt, i can see her mourning Adrien’s hair because it was already perfect or whatever and tries to make him regret cutting or changing his hair because he’s “already perfect and doesn’t need to change” (girl he’s not doing it for you)
(Also, make sure to try and take care of yourself as much as you can which includes taking breaks.)
K bye
Ooohh
Okay, Adrien changing his appearance via his hair goes one of the following ways for me:
If we go the route of cutting + dying, I say we go for something similar to what his hair looks like as Trionyx, and we completely ditch the blonde. Either go fully unnatural, go dark, or both. Personally I'm a fan of the shaved part being black and the rest being either neon green or pastel pink.
Marinette tries to talk him out of changing his hair when he first brings it up.
And when he does cut his hair, she tries to get him to grow it out. Because she thinks he just wanted to cut it. And then Adrien tells her he wants to dye it.
And it's just, oh. Oh. Temporarily, right? With dye that can be washed out. Right? RIGHT?!
No? You want something permanent? Oh. Okay. It won't be much. Right? Nothing drastic right? No? Well, maybe you should think about it.
Or or or go with the temporary!! That way you can dye your hair and if you don't like it, you won't have to worry about fixing it! Yeah!!
You already have plans?? Who- oh, right. Juleka can help. Right. NO NO NO!! I DO SUPPORT YOU!! I just don't want you to regret this decision... Are you sure-
Adrien gets his hair dyed. Marinette tries not to wince whenever she looks at his hair. She forces a smile when he asks her if it looks good. She lies and tells him she likes it.
But eventually he starts to notice the way she looks at his hair. The frowns, the mumbles about looking for ways to fix it. And it becomes just one of the things that puts a strain on their, ultimately failing, relationship.
(And thank youuu, I will. I'm staying hydrated and taking care of myself ^_^)
Ayla, as Rena Rouge, tells Adrian about the whole truth about his father in the previous timeline, sparing absolutely no details, including how Marinette knew about it, how he’s a Sentimonster, Marinette’s stalker and obsessive behavior, EVERYTHING. Needless to say, Adrian wasn’t angry, he was hurt that his girlfriend would lie to her, even gaslight her. After that, he broke up with her, both leaving in tears and Marinette on her knees begging for to come back. Then, after it was confirmed that Adrian that Rena Rouge told him, she angrily confronts Ayla about telling her secret behind her back, yelling at how she trusted her, then Ayla shouts back at Marinette that she just couldn’t let her own best friend manipulate her boyfriend. A best friend always supports her friend, but a better friend calls out on her friend’s wrongdoings. Marinette then brings up about how Ayla sided with Lila, to further her argument about not learning from her mistake, but Ayla counteract it with the fact that she keeps making claims without getting evidences, and she was only concerned when it was about Adrian. She then brings up about the fact that Marinette had gotten Adrian’s schedule, made plans about sabotaging Adrian’s other friends, etc. Ayla then concludes that she’s been enabling her behavior for a while now, and that was her biggest mistake, and she’s ending it now.
This, she puts her friendship with Marinette on a break until Marinette could really see the error of her ways and improve, but that might be wishful thinking. As for the Girl Squad, they hated being in the middle of the feud, half of them thought Ayla was right, while others thought Marinette was in the right which resulted in the split in the group, with it being Team Ayla, and Team Marinette. All in all, there is a noticeable discord in the girl’s group.
Marinette Salt Prompt Compilation: Time Travel Edition pt.2 Getting Rid of Rivals
Prompt 1:
Marinette smiled as her friends looked at Lila wearily. It was risky, but she was able to find a way to go back in time without the rabbit miraculous. A potion in the Grimoire that was used only in dire emergencies. The person who drank it would find themselves in their old body, new memories intact. They would use their knowledge to lead others towards the right path.*
Surely, someone telling her friends Lila Rossi was a serial liar, was a good deed.
It couldn't be Marinette or Ladybug. No no no. They didn't know Lila Rossi. But an anonymous prior victim of hers?? Definitely.
Oh, why anonymous? Because Lila ruined their life. They were scared but still wanted to warn them!!
The only problem was when it came to telling Adrien. She had sent him a message and he had sent one back telling her he wasn't interested in rumors.
She was confused, but told him she wasn't spreading rumors. He didn't reply back, so she figured he'd apologize later.
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
Things couldn't have gone better!!
Marinette smiled as her friends glared at Lila, scoffing at her stories.
"Yeah, sure," Alix rolled her eyes, "you know Jagged Stone. And I'm Adrien Agreste."
"But, I'm not lying!!"
"Save it, Lie-la," Kim snapped, crossing his arms, "we were warned about you."
Lila looked around, hoping someone would believe her. But everyone either gave her a cold look, or avoided her gaze entirely.
She didn't understand. She thought...
"What's going on?"
Everyone turned to see Adrien standing at their classroom door. Bag slung over his shoulder, confused look on his face.
He looked back at them before grinning brightly.
"LILA!!"
"ADRIEN!!"
The class was surprised as the two embraced each other. Surprise turned to discomfort as Lila began to tell Adrien what they had done. The accusations of being a liar. The emphasis in her name. The way they scoffed at her whenever she tried to talk to them. How they wouldn't accommodate for her disabilities. She knew it would take time to adjust, but she thought they would at least talk about it. She didn't want it to be done out of nowhere. She told them her mom was sending her files over since they got lost. But they insisted someone had warned them about how often she lied. Made up stories. And had all but pushed her to the back of the class. She didn't know what she did wrong. She didn't know who lied about her. She thought...she thought she could finally make friends.
"You guys are the worst," Adrien told the quiet classroom. "You...don't. Don't talk to me. Chloe, you get a pass ("Wow, okay...play favorites why don't you?"). Let's go, Lila. I'll sit with you. We can talk to Mrs. Bustier later, okay?"
"...okay..."
The class was tense for the rest of the day. Whenever they had free time, they would look at Adrien and Lila. The two looked comfortable with each other. Like they knew each other. Sometimes Chloe joined them. And any time one of them tried to talk to Adrien, he ignored them.
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
"Okay, Adrien, what gives?!"
Adrien sighed as he was dragged back into Mrs. Bustier's classroom. Lila and Chloe had gone and he was right behind them when he was pulled back.
He sat in his old seat and crossed his arms.
"'Adrien, what gives!' I don't know, you tell me."
"Adrien, listen," Alya stepped forwards, deciding to be the one to explain, "I don't know if you got any emails or messages, but we were warned-"
"That Lila's a liar? I know. I got the message. Told them to fuck off in the politest manner I could."
"So, you know? That Lila's a-"
"She's not a liar!!"
Someone scoffed, "How do you know?"
"I think I know my own girlfriend, thank you."
Pause.
"Can I go now?" Adrien asked as he stood up.
He groaned as hands pushed him back to his seat.
"GIRLFRIEND?!"
"SHE'S YOUR GIRLFRIEND?!"
"SO YOU'RE DATING A LIAR?!"
"BUT WHAT ABOUT-"
"ENOUGH!!"
Adrien stood back up and pushed his way towards the door.
"I honestly thought you guys were better than this. Like I said, don't talk to me. Now, if you'll excuse me. I need to find my girlfriend."
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
Marinette screamed into her pillow.
Why?! Why?!?!
Things had gone from great to absolutely terrible.
Mrs. Bustier had called several of their parents to tell them about the bullying they had done. While not everyone had done something, some of them were still quiet and let it go on.
Marinette had been grounded once she was home.
The only ones not to get a call home was Adrien.
What did she do wrong?? What went wrong?? Nothing should have changed beyond people believing her when she said Lila was a liar!!
But, looking her up, she did know Jagged Stone. Clara had her credited as a background dancer in several MVs. She was a part time model. She and Adrien have been dating since they were both 10. They've been together for 4 years, almost 5.
She wasn't a liar.
Why wasn't she a liar?!
*It was believed they would wake in their old bodies, but the truth is the potion didn't truly work. You couldn't control where you ended up. It was rare for someone to actually go back in time. Reality is that the potion sent you to another, well, reality. It's body swapping, to be more accurate. Had Fu not lost his memory, or had he had more time to train her, he would have told Marinette this potion is strictly FORBIDDEN.
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
Prompt 2:
Marinette jolted awake.
They had lost...they...she...
She looked around. Was it a nightmare?? Did Shadow Moth fail??
She made her way to her computer and gasped at the date.
Today was the day Chloe left. The day she had decided to leave the first time.
She giggled as she realized the opportunity that had been given to her.
This would be wonderful! Fantastic!! Perfect!!
Finally!! Chloe would be gone!! She wouldn't push her to stay. She wouldn't give her the bee again.
But then a thought crossed her mind. Adrien got upset when Chloe said she was leaving last time.
Shoot.
Whatever, she can make him feel better afterwards. And then he'll forget all about Chloe.
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
Marinette frowned as Adrien left.
She huffed and rolled her eyes, deciding to coddle him later. She had a victory to celebrate.
CHLOE WAS GONE!! SHE WAS GONE GONE GONE!!!
She partied to her hearts content. She laughed and cheered with her friends.
Finally, Chloe Bourgeois was gone.
And good riddance.
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
Marinette sighed as she went to bed. The party had been great. Everyone was glad to celebrate Chloe's departure.
And when she told her friends Adrien had left, they all agreed with her that he was being overdramatic. That he would get over it eventually.
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
It's been days and Adrien still wasn't over it. He barely talked to them. Whenever they invited him to hangout, he declined. Said he had to facetime Chloe. He and Chloe were gonna screenshare a movie.
Chloe Chloe Chloe!!
Why wasn't he over it already?!
Were they not his friends? Was Marinette not his friend?!
She didn't understand why he was still so upset about Chloe leaving.
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
Marinette was surprised to see Adrien smiling as he entered class. For once, she wasn't late. So she was able to see her future boyfriend Adrien walk in, happy as can be.
"Hey, Adrien!" Alya said, "I see you're finally happy again."
"I am! I found out something amazing this morning!!"
Marinette blinked and looked around. The others had turned towards them. Seems like she's not the only one curious.
"Oh?" She said, coughing to clear her throat, "Uh...what-"
"Class!" Mrs. Bustier stepped in, and Marinette bit back a gasp when she saw the person next to her, "I want you to meet our newest student."
No...
No!!
Why?! Why him?!
No wonder Adrien was happy.
No wonder he was smiling.
He just had to be here. He just had to join their class.
"This is Adrien's cousin, Felix. He'll be in our class from now on."
No!!
Marinette bit back another gasp as Felix looked at her, a smug look crossing his face for a moment before it was replaced by a pleasant smile.
No...no, it's not possible...surely he didn't...
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
Prompt 3:
Marinette grinned as she watched Lila being escorted out of school in handcuffs. As Chloe was sent to her hotel, suspended until further notice.
Finally!! Finally things were going her way.
She didn't know how to explain it. Explain her future knowledge.
But she was able to fix things. Make things right.
First, she had anonymously sent records to the school board about Chloe. Hence, her suspension until further notice. But if everything turns out to be true, she would be expelled. She had hoped Chloe would be expelled immediately, but turns out there's a process for that. So she got suspended instead.
Still, a win is a win.
And then there was Lila. Lila who had caused a scene. Lila who had been caught in her lies. Lila who had to be dragged out by the police.
Marinette couldn't help it. She shot Adrien a smug look, not caring if he looked even the tiniest bit hurt.
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
Marinette looked at the floor. A member of the school board was talking to her parents.
In their investigation, they had found out about the time she had stolen Adrien's phone.
They had also found out about the time she had taken his trash out of the garbage and the many, many, many times she had followed him around.
They had spoken to other students about her, telling them what they found.
The girls had confessed they helped her with her schemes, Alya even said she helped Marinette enter Adrien's phone. They were all facing possible suspension.
Max told them about the gaming competition. How Marinette entered last minute when sign ups had closed the prior day. She could still play, but she wouldn't have been allowed to compete. But everyone pushed for her to take his rightful place as Adrien's partner, and then Adrien had to give up his place for Max.
Someone had told them about how she was convinced either Kagami or Lila would steal Adrien from her.
Alya told them she had their future planned, from the number of kids to what they'd do (Marinette would be a famous fashion designer while Adrien modeled for her instead of his father).
Some things they told the adults were irrelevant, some things painted a larger picture. And it all pointed to Marinette being obsessed with Adrien.
Adrien, who didn't know.
Adrien, who was told off for not telling an adult about Lila. Be it her lies or the way she would break his boundaries.
Adrien, who was leaving. Leaving for London with Kagami.
Marinette continued to look at the floor. She'd be shocked when she found out. It was shortly before the school board member arrived. Alya told her.
She tried contacting Adrien. Blocked. Number disconnected. He was gone.
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
Marinette blinked back her tears as she went to her room. She was grounded. Suspended once again. Told she was lucky she wasn't expelled. To hope her luck would stick with her. Maybe Gabriel Agreste wouldn't sue her for harassing his son.
── ⋆⋅𖤓⋅⋆ ──
Ladybug sighed. No sign of Chat Noir anywhere. She'd been hoping to see him. To rant about her suspension. About how everyone looked at her when was finally able to go back to school.
She sent him another message.
Where was he?!
"Ladybug!!"
Ladybug smiled at her classmates.
"Hey everyone!" She swung down to greet them, "Just me tonight. I don't know where Chat Noir if any of you had hoped to see him."
Her friends gave her a confused look.
"You don't know?"
"Know what?"
Alya quickly pulled something up on her phone and showed it to the spotted hero.
Ladybug's jaw dropped as she took the phone.
There he was. Her partner.
Next to someone she didn't know. But it was clear they had the peacock miraculous.
The headline declared them London's heroes. Chat Noir and Argos.*
When asked, Chat Noir said he had been told he would be moving in with family in London. He didn't want to give up the hero life, so he continued it, deciding Argos would be his new partner. Besides, lately, he didn't feel like he belonged in Paris. Like he was Ladybug's partner. He found a new place in London. A better partner in Argos.
After all, they ARE family.
Ladybug handed Alya back her phone, mumbled a thanks, and swung away.
Once she was back home, she dropped her transformation.
Marinette quickly looked up the article Alya showed her on her computer.
How long? How long has Chat Noir been gone?? Why did he leave her??
First Adrien, and now Chat Noir.
She wasn't supposed to be the one who got in trouble. Who lost everything.
*This is set before LB loses the miraculous, between the end of S3 and start of S4. Chat Noir and LB have a strained partnership, so when Gabriel tells Adrien he's being sent to London, he's okay with it. While he didn't get in trouble for what happened in school, getting off with a warning, Gabriel still decided it would be best if Adrien was pulled out. Adrien did plan to renounce Plagg, but Plagg convinced him to keep him. Not only that, but to do one last rebellious thing. And thus, the peacock miraculous and Grimoire are stowed away in his luggage. Something Gabriel doesn't notice until Argos makes his debut with a fully repaired miraculous.
Prompt where Marinette travels back to the start of the show and tries to change things to convenience herself (Tells Fu Chat’s a terrible partner so he’ll pick someone more obedient, tries to end Chloe’s friendship with Adrien, starts a harassment campaign against Lila pre-transfer, attempts to speedrun her relationship with Adrien, etc), only for the butterfly effect to kick her butt at every turn.
Marinette Salt Prompt Compilation: Time Travel Edition pt.1 Kwami Swaps
....also I'm taking advantage of this to flesh out some of my Kwami Swap Adriens, sorry not sorry ≽(•⩊ •マ≼
Prompt 1:
Marinette looked around. She didn't have time to check the Ladyblog. To see if her plan worked. If her risk paid off.
"Ladybug!!"
Ladybug jumped and turned around. She smiled at the person in front of her. Kitty Noire.
Not her first choice, personally, but surely she would be better than Chat Noir.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
She didn't get it. What was wrong?? She thought...she thought things would be different. Maybe, maybe she had to pick her cat?
No offense to Kitty Noire, she was doing a great job. But...she just wasn't the right cat.
What was more infuriating was that she spent a lot of time with the temp Master Fu kept sending out (something about cats sticking together). They used the tiger miraculous and called themselves Cheshire. Something about them felt familiar.
What made things worse was that Master Fu didn't let her gather or hand out the miraculous. He sent them out. Told her it would be better this way.
So, no, she had no idea who Cheshire was.
And, sweet mother of god, she loathed them. She hated how they came on the scene one day and was just...perfect.
She scowled as they checked in on the latest akuma victim before she left, her earring beeping in warning.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Adrien handed his Chinese tutor back the panjas bracelet he'd given him.
The elderly man had visited after his failed attempt to go to school. Said he was his new Chinese tutor.
When in the privacy of his room, he told him he had considered Adrien to be one of Paris' heroes. Thought of giving him the cat miraculous.
But then a Ladybug from the future had come to him. Told him his choice for the black cat was wrong. But just because Adrien wasn't fit for the black cat, didn't mean he wasn't meant for a miraculous.
He might not be able to be a permanent hero, but...
"You can do great things, Adrien," Fu told the shocked boy, sliding over a box to him, "I believe in you. One day, Ladybug and Kitty Noire will need help. And I have no doubt you will be a great ally for them."
Adrien looked at the box before him. He turned his gaze back to Fu, who nodded in encouragement. Turning back to the box, he opened and was greeted by a blinding light. When it faded, a small, magenta, tiger was in front of him, and a panjas bracelet sat in the box.
"What's today's lesson, Master?"
Fu smiled backs at Adrien, "I believe it's time we worked on those power up potions, Adrien."
Yes, Ladybug might be right about Adrien not fitting the black cat. But Fu was certain Adrien was meant to help when it comes to the miraculous. Either as Cheshire, or as the next Guardian.
Prompt 2:
Marinette smiled at the box in her hands. She had tracked down Fu and told him everything. How Chat Noir was an awful person. About how selfish he was. How he would always get mind controlled by akumas. How he's quit and left his miraculous out in the open. He complained and whine and she couldn't work with him.
She needed him to trust her when she told him to let her choose.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Marinette smiled as she slipped the miraculous of the black cat into Alya's bag.
When she entered class, she frowned at the familiar sight of Adrien kneeling by her desk.
'Ugh, Chloe...'
She shoved him aside and put a tissue over the gum. She sat down, ignoring his apologies. She wouldn't blame him for Chloe's actions, but she needed him to apologize so they would have their moment later.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Ladybug smiled at her new partner.
"Hey!" She said as Alya approached, "I'm Ladybug!! I'm guessing we're going to work together?"
Alya nodded, "Call me Onyx!! I'm so excited to work with you!! I saw you help that boy and you're amazing!!"
Ladybug grinned.
Yes, this would work perfectly.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Marinette smiled as Alya ranted about Ladybug's new partner. Onyx was rising in popularity just as fast as Ladybug was.
She turned her attention back to Adrien, wondering about potential future holders. The last time she'd given him a miraculous didn't work out. She won't let him relive Aspik. And she was nervous about giving him the dog. But she just knows he'd fit a miraculous perfectly. She just...had to figure it out.
But that's a future Ladybug problem.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Ladybug grinned as she handed Adrien the miraculous of the horse. She would have given it to Max, but he'd been separated from her and Onyx.
But Adrien was with them. And they needed the horse. They needed Pegasus' powers.
Even if this time didn't work out, she could always try again.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
If you were to tell Alya she'd become a hero shortly after one showed up to defeat the villain that had shown up, she would of thought she was being pranked.
But then it became real.
And as it got more real, the more things began to sink in.
Ladybug...Ladybug wasn't who she thought she was.
She was...bossy. Mean. Things had to go her way.
She never protested because she didn't want to lose her miraculous. To lose Plagg. Even if the gremlin insisted on stealing cheese from the Agreste mansion. Said Adrien saw him one night and had sworn secrecy if it meant he could continue helping the heroes whenever he wasn't Chevalier.
She wouldn't lie, she was jealous. She wished she was a temporary hero. That she didn't have this massive amount of pressure on her.
Would...would Ladybug hate her if she...if she quit?
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Marinette didn't understand. Alya loved being a hero when she was Rena Rouge. She had wanted to stay on as a hero when she first got her miraculous.
Why was she telling her she wanted to quit?!
The two girls were transformed, patrolling, when Onyx told Ladybug she needed to talk to her.
She thought it would be about literally anything else. Maybe bringing in more temps. Maybe she wanted to try swapping miraculous for the night. See how it would feel to be Ladybug herself.
She wasn't expecting Alya to tell her she wanted to quit.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
If you were to tell Adrien he would be a small, magical, cat god's cheese provider, he would have laughed. Because what the fuck does that mean??
But here he was, handing over some camembert to Plagg.
He had caught the kwami in the kitchen, eating some camembert, a few weeks ago. When the kwami noticed him, he quickly ate the rest of the cheese wheel he had gotten his paws on. Container and all.
Adrien had sighed, glad that:
1. Kwamis couldn't be seen on camera, something Kaalki had told him during one of their brief times together.
and
2. Plagg was eating in a blind spot. So no one would notice the cheese that had gone missing.
And if they asked Adrien, he could just act confused. No one would blame him anyways.
Prompt 3:
Okay. Okay. Marinette had Plagg this time around. This wasn't what she had in mind when she told Master Fu to choose someone else for the black cat, but she's sure she can work with it.
Question now is, who has the ladybug miraculous??
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Marinette scowled. Her Ladybug was infuriating. First off all, her name.
Empress Adalia.
Who the fuck would use that??
Second, she looked nothing like a hero. She looked like a-a-a, a prissy little princess.
And third, she was sure she knew who this was. And she hated that she was doing a decent job.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Chloe grinned as Tikki sung her praises. When she got the kwami, she wanted nothing more than to use her to get more fame. More attention. Maybe then...
But, Tikki has been nothing but a good influence. She's encouraging her to do better.
She feels a bit silly declaring herself Empress Adalia. But hearing Adrien gush about her, saying it was like Paris got a magical girl, which was so much better than a regular, boring, hero (ha! Take that Lady Noire!).
It just made choosing to give him the dog miraculous all the more easier.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Lady Noire scowled as she shook Siber's hand. She was sure this was Felix. It had to be. She saw Adrien be escorted to his house when the akuma alarm went off. Of course Chloe, because she's sure Empress Adalia is Chloe, would recruit someone as bad as her to help.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Marinette shot Plagg a dirty look as the kwami laughed at her. She was trying to get him to see her point. That Tikki was in trouble. But he said she was fine. She was happy. She was helping her holder.
Yeah, sure. Helping.
Poor Tikki.
Imagine being stuck with Chloe.
✩₊˚.⋆☾𓃠☽⋆⁺₊✧
Adrien smiled as Chloe confided her biggest secret to him. He was proud of her. Proud of who she was becoming. And he was proud to stand by her side, ever her loyal companion, permanently.
Deconstruction prompt: Marinette tries to leverage her “celebrity” ties with the likes of Jagged Stone and Audrey to expose Lila and punish the class for not believing her, only for said ties to immediately cut her off and blacklist her when asked because the fuck do you mean you want me to risk my good name and reputation to beef with a bunch of teenagers over middle school drama? Are you insane!?
(Bonus points for DC crossovers because Maristans seem to think Clark, Lois, and Bruce have nothing better to do than bully teenagers on another teen’s word)
Oooohh, I like this.
She definitely thinks she has enough of an "in" with Jagged, Audrey, and even Gabriel to get them to help her.
Jagged feels bad for her, but it would look bad if he suddenly turned up and embarrassed a girl just because she lied. Marinette needs to understand a lot of people have lied about knowing him. About things for him. About him doing things to them. He appreciates her bringing up what Lila said about him. Penny's handling it. But he's not breaking his schedule just to go to Dupont to tell one little liar off. He let Marinette have his contact because he liked her as a designer. But if this is how she would use his contact, maybe it's better if they stopped communicating. And Marinette is blocked.
Audrey literally doesn't care. She doesn't care about Lila. Marinette is wasting both their times. Audrey doesn't answer her anymore.
Gabriel hired Lila. He knows she's a liar. But she's a useful tool, so he's keeping her around. If it means he gets closer to akumatizing Marinette, great.
When the akuma class goes to Gotham for a trip, Marinette tries telling one Damian Wayne that Lila has been lying about his family. Saying he's her boyfriend, that his father gave them his blessing, that- and Damian cuts her off. Does she think he's a fool? A moron? Stupid?? This isn't going to be first time someone has claimed something like that. Nor will it be the last. They know about Lila's lies. They can handle it.
Later on, there are several posts online showing Damian and Marinette together. Some say they're a couple. Some say she's his sister, she's a Wayne. The next time they see each other, Marinette shrinks at the cold glare shot her way. She just had to get involved, didn't she??
Lois and Clark throw out yet another letter from a girl in Paris. She wanted them to out a liar in her class. She had sent them several emails and letters about the lies this other girl has said. And honestly, it was getting annoying. What did she expect them to do?? They had told her they weren't going to write about this girl. They had told her several times to stop. But she wouldn't. Marinette Dupain-Cheng was quickly added to their spam.
Now that that was done, they could focus on the emails they've gotten from one Chat Noir. Because learning about an emotional terrorist terrorizing Paris, using their negative emotions against them, is far more interesting and important than some girl's school drama.
Hello! Same anon about the MDC salt prompt trope, excited to see it when it's posted :D. Just want to add even if Marinette at least confirms her age about being a teen not an adult but still anonymous, I'm pretty sure the public will still side with the class as they'll see MDC as nothing but a Cyberbully and also even if she shows the other online fashion trends and such (not just Gabriel's brand and Style Queen), where the other Fashion brands ain't interested of her school drama and such.
But yeah realistically I think regardless the public would side with the class and not the mysterious Fashion Designer MDC, especially if they're involving the school drama. And also to add: the accounts/website for MDC could either be suspended or terminated, can't remember if I put that in the previous ask lol.
Overall excited but take your time too :D
Hiiiii :3
I'm excited to post the prompts, it's been fun writing them. Sure, they've been written out of order, so Prompt 2 was left for last, but it's still been fun. :D
I definitely agree more people will side with the class than with Marinette. There'd be very few who side with her, and I honestly think it wouldn't be because they actually agree with her. They just don't like someone from the akuma class.
Also the Adrien Fanbase would be out for her the most. I just have a feeling about it.
Her account being terminated/suspended wasn't brought up, but I did include in at least one of the prompts. It just felt like something that would happen. :)
Here's a prompt to deconstruct: Marinette is the mysterious designer MDC, as usually in every EVERY Class salt fic, Marinette is an anonymous designer online named MDC, who is famous but she blacklists the class to not buy her products and have her followers attack the class. Let's do a reverse: it doesn't go well, because MDC is anonymous so many others will think MDC is an adult who targets children/teenagers and no one wants to associate themselves with MDC.
You can expand on this :D
Oooohh, okay okay.
Marinette Salt Prompt Compilation: MDC Edition
Prompt 1: Why Are You Targeting Teenagers?
Marinette ignored her parents as she stormed up to her room. She didn't need their comfort. She didn't need to tell them what happened.
She wiped her eyes and sat at her computer. Turning it on, she quickly logged into her MDC account on Twitter.
She had made it a few months ago. Her following had grown significantly since then. Over 100k people followed her.
Surely out of 100k people, someone would defend her. Tell her she was in the right.
MDC@MDCDesigns:
Normally, I wouldn't call out people this way. But I fear this is the only way to get people to listen.
| MDC@MDCDesigns:
If this were a different situation, I would block the people involved and that's that. And I have, but this issue is one that's more personal than one I can handle by just blocking them.
| MDC@MDCDesigns:
The problem I'm facing is that there's a liar attending College François Dupont. Her name is Lila Rossi. Before you accuse me of anything, it's obvious she's lying.
| MDC@MDCDesigns:
And as one of the few who has called her out, she's decided I'm a threat.
| MDC@MDCDesigns:
I've tried telling Alya, the Ladyblogger, but she insists I'm jealous. And when I told Adrien, the Adrien Agreste, he told me to take the high road. And those are just two of the people who've done nothing to help me.
| MDC@MDCDesigns:
I'm asking, begging even, for someone to believe me. Lila Rossi is a liar, and some of your favorite people here in Paris are no good cowards who'll assume you're jealous over someone when you're not.
Marinette smiled. There. That should do it. She minimized the tab and pulled up one of her playlists. Hitting play, she grabbed her sketchbook and began to work on more designs.
-ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ-
Marinette paused her playlist. An hour had gone by. She hesitated before she opened her minimized tab and refreshed it. She smiled when she saw her post had gathered attention. She quickly went to the replies, to see how many people agreed with her.
KittyNoir123@blackcatsociety13:
Seriously? What's your problem? Why are you naming teenagers as people who've hurt you??
| brittany@likethechipmunk:
Imagine being a whole ass adult and crying over something a 14 year old said. Couldn't be me.
| brittany@likethechipmunk:
bunnywabbits101 if this ever becomes me, kill me.
| wonderalice@bunnywabbits101:
LMFAO, sure.
| inamerica@imactuallyfromcanada
I'm not surprised the Adrien Fandom is out for MDC. He can do no wrong in their eyes.
| iliketurtles@carapacerules01:
I'm crying
Who sent this post to the Ladyblog?!
Marinette's eyes widened. This wasn't how things were supposed to go!! And what do they mean sent to the Ladyblog?!
Opening a new tab, she quickly went to the Ladyblog. It wasn't true. They were trolling her. Making fun of her. Mocking her. Lying!!!
It wasn't there, it wasn't there, it wasn't-
There it was.
Thank you to everyone who brought this to my attention. I want to set things straight:
A few friends and I were together when I got the screenshot for this post. I was surprised to see myself as one of the three people named. I wanted to contact MDC to talk, just to learn I was blocked. My friends tried contacting them, but turns out they were blocked, too. I wouldn't have thought much of it, until Adrien, one of the other named parties, told us to think about it. MDC. And suddenly, I knew who it was. It makes so much sense. And I'm hurt she would stoop this low.
Let me tell you something about MDC, she loved Adrien Agreste. Was obsessed. And she was easily jealous of any girl who talked to him. Including Lila Rossi. For all that she said she wasn't, she clearly was. She points fingers and claims Lila lies about everything and expects us to believe her just at her word.
I asked Adrien about the high road, and he told us they overheard Lila telling us Ladybug's cure healed her tinnitus. However, she said the opposite ear from what she had told us earlier. MDC was going to out her for that, but he stopped her. From where he stood, she was just telling small lies to become more popular. For attention. Eventually, she'd either come clean, or her lies would back her into a corner she wouldn't be able to get out of. The "high road" was just his suggestion as to what they should do. MDC did not have to take his advice, she could of even told him he didn't understand the situation if it was worse.
We're all rethinking the whole Lila situation. As you can see, I've taken down every video she's involved in. Partially because if she is lying, it means I'm spreading misinformation to you guys. And for that, I'm sorry. And partially because if she isn't, all I've done is paint a target on her back. And she doesn't deserve that.
I also have a message from Adrien, who lost his social media privileges. Something about a massive cat repost???
Hey guys :D Chances are my father's company had official posts made, but I wanted to say I won't be working for MDC. The GABRIEL brand has removed MDC from our list of potential partners over this situation.
Was my advice the best? No. But given what I knew? What I've seen? There wasn't anything I could of done to make things better. I'm sorry if my advice was wrong, but I never made MDC take it. I just offered it. They can't blame me for their choices.
Marinette bit back a scream as she looked up GABRIEL's socials. Sure enough, MDC was blocked. When she checked Adrien's, he had MDC blocked as well. MDC, and Marinette. She turned back to her official MDC account.
gaygayhomosexualgay@secretlyafrog
| I just read the post on the Ladyblog about this, and wow. WOW.
| daisydaisy@ijustlikedaisies:
RIGHT?! Like, we know MDC outted three teenagers as people who've hurt them (and reading about the situation is just 💀). But Alya confirmed some of her friends were blocked as well.
| wonderalice@bunnywabbits101:
all because they won't believe her saying someone's a liar?? I agree with the Ladyblogger. MDC is just jealous.
| daisydaisy@ijustlikedaisies:
WAIT!! do you think they thought we would hunt down these kids??
| iliketurtles@carapacerules01:
FUCKING HELL
| amy@gardeniasandlilies:
imagine trying to get your following to attack people who hurt your feelings.
| iliketurtles@carapacerules01:
I expect this sort of bullshit from someone like XY, smh.
With a frustrated growl, Marinette turned off her computer. Some fans. They should of been on her side. But no!! They were just as bad as her classmates. As Lila and her goddamn lies. As Adrien and his stupid advice that he absolutely made her take!!
She'll show them. She'll show them all. She'll prove she's right and watch as they beg for her forgiveness. And she'll let them grovel until she's satisfied. And then she'll deliver the final blow. She doesn't forgive them. And she'll watch as people attack them online just like she was currently being attacked. They'll see. They'll all see.
Prompt 2: You're a Whole Ass Adult Beefing With a Child
Marinette scowled as she deleted another comment from her latest post as MDC.
Lately, all anyone could comment was about her having beef with a kid. All because she dared complain about Lila lying. And Chloe being Chloe. And her friends not believing her when she called out Lila for lying. And Adrien for his stupid high road advice.
Sue her for wanting someone on her side. She thought her followers would have her back. Agree with her. Tell her they couldn't believe her classmates did that to her.
And, okay, maybe she didn't say they were her classmates. She said friends. But she specifically mentioned Lila, and Chloe, and Alya, and Adrien by name. Because they were more public figures. Their faces were more well known.
She thought, she hoped, that maybe, just maybe someone would confront them in person.
Humilate them for betraying MDC.
Oh, they don't know MDC? Wow, how can they not know the infamous, mysterious, anonymous, fashion designer known as MDC?? Oh, they're blocked?? They deserved to be blocked for what they've done.
But no!!
"You're an adult, they're kids. Grow up!!"
"You have beef with a fucking 14 year old. You're pathetic."
"They're minors, why are you attacking them."
"Leave them alone, they're babies compared to you."
Not. One. Fucking. Person.
Not. One!!
Sided with her.
And when she decided to add her age? Say she was 14?? She's lying. MDC is an adult. She just doesn't want to get into more trouble for not liking teenagers. For getting mad at kids. For having beef with someone at least half her age.
She deleted another comment.
How was any of this fair??
Another comment deleted.
Some of them even defended her friends. Said it did sound like she was jealous.
Comment deleted.
Funny how she went from complimenting GABRIEL and Adrien to dragging them through the mud. Very funny.
Comment deleted.
Comment deleted.
Seriously, what was her problem?? Was she really that hurt about what a 14 year old said?? What did they even do?? What did Lila say?? What did Chloe say?? How did Alya betray her?? How did Adrien hurt her??
Lila lied?? Wow, who hasn't lied?? You?? You're anonymous, you lie by default.
Chloe was mean to you?? Boo-fucking-hoo, she's to mean to pretty much everyone, you're not fucking special.
Alya didn't believe you when you called someone a liar? Well, how did you prove it?? You didn't?? You expected her to prove why the liar isn't a liar?? You're the one who had an issue. Not her.
Adrien gave you advice you didn't have to take?? That's fully on you. That is entirely your fault. Oh, you like him and didn't want to hurt his feelings?? He's not that fucking fragile. And even if he is, that's his problem, not yours. All this proves is that he could tell you do to anything, you'd obey him, and then you'd come crying that he made you do something, when you're just a fucking simp who'd do anything for their obsession. Again, it's completely YOUR FAULT.
Marinette turned off her computer. She didn't need any more of this bullshit.
Prompt 3: He's Like 14, Weirdo; TW: implied pedophilia
MDC@MDCDesigns:
The new GABRIEL line has dropped. I've taken a look, and honestly? He's done better.
| MDC@MDCDesigns:
The only thing that looked good was the model.
| MDC@MDCDesigns:
But of course, that's nothing new. Professionalism aside, I think GABRIEL would fail without Adrien.
| day17ofsharingcatpuns@forchatnoir:
You like Adrien??
| MDC@MDCDesigns: Yes! I think he's very nice, and dreamy. And I may have designed things in mind for him. I've even passed by his photoshoots sometimes.
| iliketurtles@carapacerules01:
I think it's weird you think Adrien Agreste is dreamy.
Marinette looked at the reply in confusion. Why was that weird? There was nothing weird about her finding Adrien dreamy!!
igottrappedinthevoid@imnotlyingjoshgfdi:
carapacerules01 why do you think MDC liking Adrien is weird? A lot of people like Adrien.
| iliketurtles@carapacerules01: don't you find it weird a grown ass adult likes a minor? Like, he's literally 14. MDC has to be in their 20s at the youngest, but I think they're older. Like, 30s or early 40s.
| iliketurtles@carapacerules01: sure, this wouldn't be the first person. I've blocked a lot of weirdos who like Adrien that had their age or face visible. All adults. But some were anonymous like MDC.
| petitiontobringbackqb@queenbeefan48:
holy shit, I didn't think about it that way!!
| daisydaisy@ijustlikedaisies:
do have a list of those weirdos? I want to block them as well, thanks.
| TheRealQueenBee@ChloeBourgeois:
I'll be sure Adrikins learns about this. Pity, he liked MDC's work whenever he saw it on fashion blogs.
Marinette scrambled to make a new post. This hasn't gotten out of hand yet. She'd explain herself. Say she's a teenager. Around Adrien's age. That would make things okay.
RenaNoirFan@catsandfoxes:
Did anyone else see MDC's newest post?
| youneverwenttothevoid@stoplyingnikkigfdi:
the ones they posted after carapacerules01 outed them for being a creep? Yeah.
| amy@gardeniasandlilies:
how convenient, right? Just as we learn they're creeping on Adrien, they're suddenly a teenager as well? Weird how you say that after being a creep, you weirdo.
| amy@gardeniasandlilies:
Honestly, this is just as bad as the time I caught LB being a bitch to CN and threatening to take his Miraculous because she's his "boss".
No!! Why didn't they get it?! MDC wasn't a creep!! She wasn't!! She wasn't a creep!! She wasn't weird!!
She needed to post something else. She needed back up. Surely Chloe hadn't told Adrien yet. She can explain things. She just, she just had to unblock him. Explain things to him. And once he explains she was his age, she can just block him again. Yeah? Yeah.
Marinette scrolled through her blocked list. Mainly consisting of her classmates, whom she added shortly after they began accusing her of accusing Lila of lying. Adrien got blocked immediately after she went home the day he told her to take the high road.
Where was he?! Where was he-THERE!!
Marinette unblocked him and quickly went to his account. She had to message him. She needed to message him now!!
You are blocked from following this account and viewing adrienagrestebrand's Tweets
Blocked...blocked? He, he blocked...her??
No!! Nonononono!!
What was she supposed to do now?! If she posted a photo, her friends might find out she's MDC. People might think she stole the photo. Or edited it to look younger!!
iliketurtles@carapacerules01:
LMFAO!! so, my sister works at the mall, right? Right. Well, guess who she saw today?
| RenaNoirFan@catsandfoxes:
Hmmm...was it MDC?? /j
| iliketurtles@carapacerules01:
Funny, but no. She saw Chloe Bourgeois and Adrien Agreste.
But get this. Chloe was telling Adrien he did the right thing blocking them.
| daisydaisy@ijustlikedaisies:
Block who? You don't actually mean-
| iliketurtles@carapacerules01:
MDC? Yeah. She said Adrien looked upset that he had to, but he was glad he did it after learning a designer he liked was most likely around his father's age, and said designer was being creepy towards him.
| iliketurtles@carapacerules01:
What was more surprising was that apparently MDC had HIM blocked and he looked so fucking sad about it.
| iliketurtles@carapacerules01:
Honestly, I feel bad. I don't think he knew there were creeps who liked him. Chloe is living up to her title as QB tho. I might have Carapace as my favorite hero, but respect QB. Respect.
Marinette cried as her inbox began to flood. Replies to her posts accusing her of being a creep. Of being a...a pedophile. They couldn't do this, could they?? They can't just...just accuse her of-of that!!
Marinette wanted to scream. She refreshed her account. She was losing followers. She was getting more and more notifications. More comments. More replies. All negative. All saying MDC was a creep. There were maybe one or two people defending her. But it wasn't enough.
Marinette wanted to message Adrien, tell him to unblock MDC. But...he'd want to know why. And what could she tell him? He'd think she was defending a creep.
Looking back at her account, there was only one thing she could do. Hopefully no one ever connected the dots. No one will ever realize MDC is, was, Marinette Dupain-Cheng.
She worked so hard to build a following. But she didn't know how else to fix this. She didn't know what else to do.
She deleted her account.
ngl, I do feel bad for Marinette in this one. She's being accused of something very serious, and while it's not written in the prompt, she is afraid someone's going to call the police on her. Make a false report. Have her arrested, and while they learn she's not actually a pedophile (because she is, in fact, a teen), they might find Adrien's schedule and assume she's using it to stalk him, which becomes the reason she's arrested in the end.
-ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ-
Prompt 4: MDC, Fashion Designer or Groomer? TW: Implied grooming
Everyone and their child knew who MDC was. They were an up and coming fashion designer who could rival Gabriel Agreste and Audrey "Style Queen" Bourgeois. They hadn't been in the fashion world for long, so it was surprising that they were caught in a scandal so fast.
It all began with a post on Twitter. It wasn't anything too wild or out there. MDC was just complimenting a post featuring Adrien Agreste. Said they would love to collaborate with the GABRIEL Brand one day. Have Adrien model for them.
However, when asked if they'd ever let his fellow model, Lila Rossi, model their designs, either alongside Adrien or on her own, MDC had gone on a rant about how she didn't deserve to model their designs. How they refused to work with a serial liar.
It got people wondering. Why did MDC only want Adrien Agreste? Some speculated that it was simply because he was more famous. Many brands have had Adrien model for them. If he modeled for MDC, they could possibly see a rise in sales and/or their following.
But some had, darker thoughts. They looked through MDC's account. Scoured through it.
And they posted screenshot after screenshot of them liking and retweeting posts that included Adrien Agreste. Posts where they compliment Adrien. Where they insist an outfit would have sold better if Adrien modeled. Adrien. Adrien. Adrien. They were obsessed with Adrien.
Their conclusion? MDC was trying to groom Adrien. Surely, they must be trying to do so in a way that would go unnoticed. They were complimenting him. They mentioned in several posts that they already had designs for Adrien in mind. They didn't want Lila around because how else were they going to isolate Adrien??
-ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ-
Marinette was desperately trying to clear her name. She didn't know when it began, or who started it. But she needed t-to-to fix things!!
But every post she made ended the same. She was lying. She was trying to hide her true intentions. How it was very convenient that she was Adrien's age.
The GABRIEL Brand account had blocked her. Style Queen blocked her. Adrien blocked her. She was losing followers. People didn't want to follow a groomer. Support someone who was manipulating a child.
And just as she was going to post another tweet, her MDC account got suspended.
Nononononono!! Why?!
How was she supposed to tell people she's innocent?! That she's not some creepy 40yr old person who wants to groom Adrien, isolate him, and do things to him.
-ˋˏ ༻❁༺ ˎˊ-
Marinette could only nod nervously when asked if she agreed MDC was a groomer. Her friends had gathered around Adrien's and Nino's desk. They were concerned about Adrien, wanted to know if he was okay. And he was. Nothing happened. But the fact it could of shook him up. MDC had always seemed so...nice. His Father had really been interested in a collaboration with them, but then the scandal came out. And he realized how, infatuated MDC seemed to be when it came to him. And he suddenly wanted nothing to do with MDC if it meant Adrien could possibly be...you know.
Marinette hoped that no one decided to see if they could track down MDC. She didn't want to know what her friends, what her Adrien, would think of her if they found she was MDC. That she was the mysterious groomer after one of their classmates and friends.
Hello! Same anon about the MDC salt prompt trope, excited to see it when it's posted :D. Just want to add even if Marinette at least confirms her age about being a teen not an adult but still anonymous, I'm pretty sure the public will still side with the class as they'll see MDC as nothing but a Cyberbully and also even if she shows the other online fashion trends and such (not just Gabriel's brand and Style Queen), where the other Fashion brands ain't interested of her school drama and such.
But yeah realistically I think regardless the public would side with the class and not the mysterious Fashion Designer MDC, especially if they're involving the school drama. And also to add: the accounts/website for MDC could either be suspended or terminated, can't remember if I put that in the previous ask lol.
Overall excited but take your time too :D
Hiiiii :3
I'm excited to post the prompts, it's been fun writing them. Sure, they've been written out of order, so Prompt 2 was left for last, but it's still been fun. :D
I definitely agree more people will side with the class than with Marinette. There'd be very few who side with her, and I honestly think it wouldn't be because they actually agree with her. They just don't like someone from the akuma class.
Also the Adrien Fanbase would be out for her the most. I just have a feeling about it.
Her account being terminated/suspended wasn't brought up, but I did include in at least one of the prompts. It just felt like something that would happen. :)
