I remember taking a Toyota Delica off road with some friends and just fixing her as we went. The vehicle stalled a few times and eventually we had to stop to prime the pump and bleed the system. Afterwards it ran really well and gave us many great days as we camped in the woods. I wonder how much further we would have gotten in this monster :).

Airless “iFlex’ Tires Nearing Consumer Vehicle Use

Hankook Tire announced that it had successfully completed its ride and handling tests for its latest non-pneumatic tire (NPT) Hankook iFlex, which is made using eco-friendly materials.

The iFlex is the latest example of Hankook Tire’s continued technology leadership. The company’s ability to push the boundaries of driving capabilities is a direct result of its robust foundation in R&D as well as the following world-class technological prowess.

This picture taken on the 16th of April 2013 shows a tyre recycling centre in Lachapelle-Auzac, France, which has been closed since 2004. Amid the thousands of tonnes of used tyres sprawled over the ten hectare site a single tree has grown.
