So I dreamed about being a sexy anime xenomorph-like bioengineered alien that was made to overthrow a corrupt government and I spent all day drawing it.

I dreamed about being a bioengineered, alien-like beast. These creatures had an older, more bestial form covered in fur which was shown briefly in some research notes. But we could also explode, turn invisible, interact with machines and technology, and assume human forms. In the dream, it wasn't clear if we—the beasts—had killed our creator in his lab just for fun or if he had provoked our leader into doing it, believing that only the superior beings (us) should survive. Our leader was modeled after him, and this act seemed part of a grander plan.

The government eventually saw us as a chaotic and powerful threat, wiping out most of us. I think this was part of our creator’s design. He wanted us to be scornful and proud, capable of taking down a corrupt government. He provoked us, hoping we would destroy him and fulfill this purpose. We caused significant damage before it was just me and our leader left. We grew regretful and sorrowful for our creator as we realized our purpose and strove to end the corruption.

Towards the end of the dream, my leader and I were running away in the dead of night along a long path stretching across a vast body of water. The night was pitch black with no stars, likely due to smog covering the atmosphere. Despite this, we had our own light and night vision. We were heading toward a group of floating crates full of bombs. We had destroyed many before, and these were meant to be the last, located next to the final facility capable of producing them. As we activated the bombs to explode in a few minutes, an army appeared—it was a trap. The government had developed gelatinous copies of us to counter our abilities, and they brought some to this raid.

We had to stay hidden to avoid their attacks but were slowly becoming overwhelmed. Our primary goal was to ensure at least one bomb detonated to destroy the rest, but the army kept stopping the countdowns. My leader told me to run while he tried to manually detonate a bomb, willing to sacrifice himself if necessary. I ran far along the path over the water, but I didn't hear any explosions. Turning back, I saw what I thought was my leader running towards me, but it was one of the gelatinous copies. Fearing we had failed, I hid in the water, clinging to the path to avoid detection.

Just as the copy started searching for me, I saw an explosion and then my leader running back along the path. I woke up just before he charged at the copy to take it down.

As soon as I saw Neuvillette, he reminded me of Agony's mentor/adopted dad Kelethel. I know he doesn't drink wine but... they're basically both elf wine dads who work in government!

I really want a new wallpaper but I only ever want it to be a redraw of me and my husband and in the same shade of blue. Maybe I should do a third version... (Current one is our dnd characters)

Our Waterdeep party as Batman characters!

Lazarus Wolfe, the Shifter Inquisitive Rogue as Batman. Izo, the Bugbear Pugilist as Bane. Veevee Venom (Verity Valentine), the Half-Elf Artillerist Artificer as Mr. Freeze, and her sister Vivian Valentine as Nora Freeze. Jehmheim Moreau, the Kalashtar Glamour Bard as the Joker, and his merged spirit Diona as Harley Quinn. Os Blueblood, the Goblin Beastmaster Ranger as Two-Face, and Bully the giant frog as Killer Croc. KING, the Tabaxi Draconic Sorcerer as Cat(wo)man. This was a very late Christmas present for two of our players that took almost two years finish lol. I used a ton of references from comic pages and game screenshots for a few of the character poses so credits to them or those.
