Motif of a rozeta (rosette), also called kwiat życia (flower of life), is a protective symbol commonly used in Polish folk architecture and woodwork.

The graphically bold designs on this Serbian dress create a visually stunning garment with a substantial presence. The use of heavy cloth makes the garment warm while also rendering it suitable for heavy ornamentation. Motifs include symbolic elements at the hem, with fertility goddess figures at the sides, and shamanistic-like ornaments on the collar.
