i love when characters are just autistic and it’s not a plot device like the autism is just there
hey do you ever think about how in the training simulation in episode one, Hunter sends Tech out to go solve their new problem by rewiring something? and then Tech falls? do you think about "Tech, get us in the air. the rest of us will find crosshair." do you think about how Tech tried to call explicit attention to how weird Crosshair was acting in the hall after the Palpatine speech and Hunter was too focused on Omega to pay attention? do you think about how Tech tried again in the cafeteria and Hunter was again distracted by Omega's arrival? do you think about how he also tried in the barracks and Hunter was distracted by arguing with Crosshair about his leadership capabilities? and again in the cell, and again Hunter was too busy arguing about leadership? do you think about it. because I think about it all the time.
They're bad, they're in a batch, what more could you ask for?
jadzia dax is everything. she's hot. she's the station gossip. she cleans house at tongo with the ferengi every week. she drinks cocktails at 8 in the morning. she's 300 years old. she's 28. everyone wants her. she has a worm
Actually, Wrecker never had a flat stomach- he’s just wearing his tactical assault spanx under his blacks

"Congratulations, Data. It's a girl". - Troi
If you showed ChatGPT a picture with four lights and told it it has five lights, it would just say some bullshit like, "You're so right! That picture does have five lights. Good catch."
this is what worf and jadzia are to me...
the Beatles would exist in star wars but they'd be actual beetles. they'd look like the real Beatles but w like insect antenna and they'd be part of an alien species who are all musicians. they'd all have star warsed versions of their names except for Ringo bcos Ringo Starr is already a star wars name.
Since our societal perception of gender is largely centered on social roles and behaviors, autistic people are often viewed as failed versions of their gender (ask me how I know). I do wonder if this perception is part of why I see a lot of fanon portrayals of Tech as being less able to “handle” romantic advances, as having significantly less sexual prowess than say, Hunter, or as being less physically capable than his batch mates. Obviously, these traits don’t equate to “failing” at manhood and aren’t required to be a man, but I still think it’s worthwhile to look at how people have Tech perform masculinity versus how they write other clones.
I don’t know if I’m making sense and there is obviously a lot of nuance here, but this is the start of…some sort of though process, I guess.

A little late to the party but I decided to draw some fanart for my favorite Space dad and his tiny terror!
