Gosh I hope am doing this right- but I been also desperately wanting to talk to someone about Re9! And am glad I can get a chance to- I have many things I want to talk about but, I guess what Iâll say is what did you think of the two endings? (My little dumbass got the bad ending what wasâŠgreat to witness- am so sorry Leon) and the good ending, and learning about Leon being actually married and who that can be, and Grace and Emily being saved and making little family from it, and Chrisâs team coming to save Leon and Grace? And what possible Chris told Leon?- ok thatâs all am gonna rant about know, hope you enjoy and o wasnât much of a bother<]

I actually just finished replaying to get the bad ending part and Leon's final words were just a punch in the stomach because he might have not saved everyone but he had saved a lot of people before ;-; I might have cried a little
The good ending I only managed to get it because i might have been a little too obsessed with RE franchise and had studied the patterns in the game and its usually the choice that didn't made sense at first was the correct choice lol; And i freakin loved it; The boss fight was fun, but I was a little shock (pun intended) because Viktor had electricity powers lol but I guess compared to Heisenberg his abilities were more believable.
It's nice that Grace and Emily found a family, which was freaking adorable. It was such a good homage to how Leon also survived the tragedy in RE2. Both characters ended up having a found family.
Now, for Leon's marriage. OH BOI, i'm actually not sure because they kept making fan services for both Leon x Claire and Leon x Ada ships. From what they're currently doing with Leon's character I want to say that he ended up with Claire, but from RE4 and RE6 and the movies it might be Ada who he ended up with.
And for Chris' message I think it's something related on the BSAA matters. RE8 ended with a hint that something sinister had taken root in BSAA, and the whole BSAA operation in the Racoon City post missile too, so I'm a bit hopeful that the next game would now include Chris and Leon investigating that matter. Leon also is back to his sprightly self because of that antiviral so our man still got it for the future games. He'll be like the anti-bioterrorist granddaddy like Chris.
ALSO i want a separate appreciation paragraph that LEON CAN NOW PARRY A GODDAMN LICKER lol
Overall, it was an amazing game, and even more so if you know the lore of Resident Evil. There were so many easter eggs and throwbacks on that game (racoon, HUNK?!?, mr. x?!, nemesis!?!?!!, the freakin lickers?!?!?!) that it would make any RE fans tear up even just a little.
Oh my gosh you actually answered- and am glad I wasnât a bother- and if you want I love to talk more! (And seeing am being bold may as well show myself- oh goshâŠ) but that isnât the matter- but to the important stuff, for the ending I kinda knew I was most likely picking wrong but went with it because if youâll do something dumb may as well do it proudly.
also a note on Grace and Emily having a happy ending just a little tangent Tumbler has infected with my mind with Zeno possibly being saved seeing he is just a clone, and thereâs a possibility (very unlikely) and that Grace becoming roommates with them and Zeno acting liking a distant brother to Emily to were he warm up to her, but sorry just had to get that out of me.
to the juicer parts- but on Leonâs marriage yea thatâs very understandable but you forgot the the two other secret options, the merchant and Chris~ but jokes aside my bet right now is on Claire, but who knows but know the main reason am here because I lost it when this man parried MR X attacks especially the ones that wouldâve have instantly ended Re2 Leon, they grow up so fastâŠ. even when he dying on his death bed truly a beautiful moment he didnât even need a rocket launcher just pure rage, whatâŠis kind of terrifying if you think to long on it.
also yes I know a good amount of lore to answer you so yes I know the many Easter eggs truly amazing, I liked Lickers returning even though they scared me shitless still and them being still annoying (but as Grace I actually was able to sneak by them I guess Leon and Claire are just loud-) AM SORRY YOU COULD PARRY THEM?! I didnât know that? Noted.
also even more amazing moment for Leon was Leon meeting HUNK am gonna be honest when I saw HUNK I just knew them saying the people making Re9 were fans, because no way this would happen other way but it was amazing to see the neck snapper himself, (I will say I hate him with a burning passion know because of his boss fight, amazing just I couldnât fully enjoy it because am dumb but still really cool especially Leon winning) but it was really great and loved ever second of it, but I did have more to talk more so if you want and respond here is what I have to say, what did you think the boss fights? With HUNK, Mr x, The stalker? Am not sure if that was a boss fight but letâs go for it, you already said about Gideon what was ok Iâll say didnât expect him to just straight up take out a rocket launcher and theâŠ.the Spider eh the worse of them all turn me right back to Re2 Leon I hated so much, (if you canât guess I donât like spiders)
what you think of the characters? I thought Grace was actually really well made, Leon I say is good, Gideon was really well made, and surprisingly being unexpected Zeno wasnât half bad and the best of all R.P.D secrets so many but to let my delusions take over I was so happy to see Barry return, at least mention and the actually mental damage cause by it, seeing it hurt to learn the treasure maps were made by him for his kids and even having him planning to take his kids to go somewhere whatâŠsadly never came to be, and- and CAPCOME PLEASE BRING HIM BACK- for Re10 like a little S.T.A.R.S meet up again with Chris, Jill, Claire, Rebecca and Barry to return- and dear god does Chris need it- seriously I donât think Leon and Claire canât be the only thing keeping this man sane,- and the photo you know which one, 1. Wesker am genuinely getting scared how many did you have..? 2 I felt like I got rickrolled by that photo especially seeing that photo got me killed in Re2 but thatâs all for know and if you donât reply itâs ok it was just nice talking to you and I hope you have a good day<]

i was kind of disappointed at the HUNK and Leon fight. I genuinely thought it would be harder, but it's not. AND HE DIES?!?! HUNK DIES?!!?!? but its kind of not surprising especially if its Leon who killed him. RE2 Leon would be eating dirt though if he had met HUNK that time lol
And no, I think it was dumb that you picked the Destroy Elpis because Spencer literally wanted to erase humanity. The choices there were literally 50/50 and i just got lucky that I overthinked it đđđ
AND OMG EMILY AND GRACE AND ZENO?!?! THAT'S SO CUTE. My theory about Zeno tho is he wasnt a literal clone. He was one of the Connections agents/leaders that just got Wesker's infection hence the RE5 Wesker dodging.
FOR MR. X YOW That man not only parried Mr. X's attack, but he was stronger than Mr. X. I think one of the files mentioned he was Super Tyrant so not only Leon defeated a tyrant, he defeated a super tyrant... aND NEMESIS (freaking gideon).
THE BOSS FIGHT LOL I WAS SO CONFUSED ABOUT THE ELECTRICITY POWERS LIKE WHY WAS HE GOIGN SUPER SAYAN ON US but it was so fun though it made me want to replay re3 i wanted to replay the part where Jill had to trudge that railgun bigger than her to shove it to nemesis' mouth lmao
The characters I'm gonna say I loved all the new ones introduced. I super loved loved loved how they made Grace. I could still hear her screams when her mom died and how she pleaded leon to not kill Emily.
There's a lot of major exposition for Leon here as well and I'm so glad they played how helpless he felt despite being this badass. I love how they brought back Sherry too (and isnt she freaking 40?!?)

YES YOU CAN PARRY THE LICKERS
I'm not sure the exact mechanics to it as what I've done was spam the parry button whenever a licker tries to attack me, but this what I've experienced:
You can parry them when they jump on you, try to lick you and claw you.
Perfectly timed parry while they're jumping on you or clawing on you will give you the chance to one hack kill them
Perfectly timed parry while they're licking you will cut off their tongue hence that lil achievment up there (i got it accidentally)
Otherwise, it will daze them and you can melee them.
You can also sneak behind them and you have to be really close to trigger a one hack kill.
