Francesca hadnāt noticed someone was talking to her until she saw Ethan walking over to her. She blinked at him, realizing he must have watched her. āEhhā¦Iām Francesca. Pleasure to meet you.ā She said, offering a polite smile despite the slightly awkward situation. Francesca looked at Ethan more closely. She could tell that she had seen him around at one time or another, but unlike herself he seemed like he wasnāt new around here. However she wondered how she could overlook him. She was sure no one was watching her.
The blonde digged in her pocket at his question. āOh, you mean this?ā She asked, pulling out the bracelet with the broken fastener and showed him it. āNo, it isnāt. I found itā, she answered honestly, not seeing the point in lying since he had seen her anyway.
"Well, Francesca," Ethan said, his hands held out in earnest. "I hate to break it to you, but that's not how things roll around here," Ethan explained, looking at the bracelet with narrow eyes. He couldn't recognize who it belonged to - it's not like he checked out what a girl was wearing around her arms. Ethan was more fond of other... assets.
He refrained from looking at his new friend'sĀ assetsĀ while he carefully held out his hand, hoping to take a closer look at the jewelry. "Just because you find it on the ground doesn't mean it automatically belongs to you," Ethan clarified. He wriggled his fingers. "Could I get a closer look at that? I'm not going to take it, I promise."
You should watch out for that, dude. The girls at this school are far from kind when it comes to disturbing their peace.
I'm sure that there's already a huge target on my fucking back.
I'm kind of hoping that they'll probably forget about it in a week or two.

There were a couple screams, yeah. I'm not sure any other cabins would have really heard, since all of them are so far apart, but yeah. It was like 2 in the morning, so I gave some of them a pretty big surprise.
Busted! || Ethan & Francesca
One week had already pass but Francesca wasnāt familiar with the camp yet. All she knew was that it was huge, but that was all. The blonde was lucky she finally knew how sheās getting to her cabin and back to the fire pit without getting lost. The first days were horrible and she feared she would never find back every time she got lost. As much as she would like to see more of the camp she was glad she had at least one spot she could go to and pass some time.
That was exactly where she was sitting now, on a rock near the fire pit. The blonde was watching some students when something caught her eyes. It reflected the fire and Francesca couldnāt resist not getting up and walking over. Ā She squatted down, her eyes never leaving the object as she did so. Picking it up, she took a closer look. It was a bracelet with a broken clasp but it didnāt stop her from shoving it in her jeans pocket. The blonde had always a thing for shiny things no matter if it was broken or totally useless. Francesca would keep it.
She looked around if someone had watched her but she couldnāt see anyone who was looking over at her, so she stood up and walked back to the rock she had been sitting on and sat down again. Pretending like she hadnāt moved at all.
"Uh, hey," Ethan said, noticing a girl pocket something shiny on the ground. "Excuse me, dud...ette," Ethan called from the log he had been sitting on. Standing up, he dusted off his jeans, shoving his hands into his pockets as he slowly approached the blonde. She looked like one of the new girls, and just by looking at her, he knew that she was some sort of water-creature. Awesome. That meant that they should get along nicely. If they didn't get along, Ethan could always blame it on his forward attitude, or maybe the fact that he was still dirty from the rope course he had done earlier.
"I'm Ethan," he introduced awkwardly.Ā Don't be a fucking weirdo, Ethan. God.
"Is that yours?" He asked suddenly, walking over to the rock Francesca had settled down upon. Ethan already knew the answer to his question:Ā no.Ā He himself had been sitting to the side of the fire pit, but that didn't mean that he wasn't part of the group. This girl was obviously distancing herself from everyone, and Ethan didn't quite understand why.Ā
