“What is your problem?” I asked, rubbing my chest. It was throbbing from where her fists had smashed into it. I was convinced she was waiting for me to show up to have a running start.
“My problem?!” she screeched. I widened my eyes. “It’s been weeks! And you know what, you had this coming so I don’t care if everyone knows!”—It was then that I realized everyone around us was watching. “No,” I spat through my teeth. “It’s just fucking personal and not anyone else’s business.”
“What? You mean it isn’t Andy’s business to know that we kissed?” she retaliated. I practically heard the gasps around us.
“Stop being so fucking dramatic, Amelia!” I yelled, losing my temper. “You’re being a bitch. Why did you feel the need to do this in front of everyone?”
