Here's my TBD Valentine's story: Croissant wants to ask String Gummy out but he's on a very strict schedule, so every time they talk she can barely bring up their personal lives. So. She decides to write him a letter. But she's not sure what to write yet. Better ask her friends!

Croissant first tries to ask Baguette and Dark Fondue since they're good at writing clean documents. Baguette is about to bring up that employee relationships are forbidden, but Dark Fondue corrects her by saying the rule only applies to... Dark Fondue! Baguette tells Croissant that she'll allow the relationship as long as it doesn't affect their work. Croissant says that isn't what she was asking them, but thanks anyways!

During breaktime, Croissant goes to the sandwich shop and there she actually gets solid advice from the likes of Gingerbrave, Hero, and Sandwich. Croissant finishes the letter during her break and bolts back to work. She figures that she'll dirty the letter if she kept it with her, so she puts it in her locker.

Croissant notices her workstation is a mess so she begins to clean up. Maple Taffy comes by to ask for help, so she leaves. Just as Croissant left her workstation, Timekeeper comes by and snoops around; finds the letter, decides to play a little prank, and takes the letter with them.

When Croissant Cookie comes back, she is horrified to find the letter missing. She thinks she must have thrown it away while fixing up her workplace?? Croissant gets Coffee Candy, grand finder of lost things, to help her find the letter in the mess and the garbage. Coffee Candy does what she can, but still they can't find the letter. Coffee Candy recommends she go to the Disposal Site and see if the letter is there.

Unfortunately, Coffee Candy is running late for her meeting with Baguette so she leaves Croissant. Croissant meets Marble Bread Cookie, who resents the deja vu but decides to help look just in case it'd make Croissant go away soon. However, there is no trace of the letter.

Disappointed but not one to give up, Croissant marches to the Time Investigation Division to just be upfront about the matter and talk to String Gummy directly. However, he isn't in his workstation and his coworkers mentioned that the Director herself took him with them on a special mission to investigate a certain anomaly in the timeline. Fearful that they might hurt each other during the mission, Croissant gets the coordinates in the spacetime the two headed to - and notes that this was odd since neither Timekeeper nor String Gummy would be this careless with leaving details regarding their next destinations.

Nonetheless, Croissant gets on her Timecraft and travels to find Timekeeper and String Gummy. Timekeeper meanwhile is leading the annoyed String Gummy on to find the letter for himself by saying it is a clue. He is about to pick up the letter when Croissant arrives and tells them to stop what they're doing. He's confused. She's confused. Timekeeper quickly excuses themself into a time rift and the two realize they're alone. Croissant apologizes for the mess and offers to take String Gummy back with her, but he says he can't because he's supposedly on a mission to investigate an anomaly, and a clue was in his hands.

Croissant then recognizes the stationery she used for the letter and almost stops String Gummy from reading it - wasn't this what she wanted in the first place? At first, String Gummy thinks it's a prank from Timekeeper, because it's not funny to be suggested that Croissant Cookie, his director, would have such feelings for him. Then the present Croissant explains that the letter is from herself and that she does have feelings for String Gummy. She then guesses that Timekeeper must've led them both here as a prank, but she does agree it's not a funny one. They laugh it off and get on the Timecraft to fly back home.

During the ride, String Gummy asks Croissant if she does, indeed, have feelings for him. Croissant basically affirms for the third time, and as she does, String Gummy laughs and confesses that he too feels the same way.

Fade to present day TBD. Not much has changed; everyone is still working on a tight schedule. Baguette and Dark Fondue are working away on organizing and approving leave forms. Croissant and String Gummy both appear with their respective forms to take time off on the same day. Baguette and Dark Fondue notice that; the four share a quiet moment; then watch as Baguette quickly stamps the documents green and push it to Dark Fondue for filing.

As Croissant and String Gummy walk away happily, Dark Fondue sighs and wishes that the employees of TBD date each other instead like this, and Baguette notes that she'd rather that not happen or else everyone will take too many personal leaves and cripple their busy workforce!
